NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very well done. i particularly appreciate that this was about the Lucitania: that ill-fated ship just doesn't get enough attention. // PLEASE tell me what the music was - well, especially the introduction. i would VERY much appreciate this. Thanks in advance.
P.S: LOVE the accent, although i can't quite place it. Your diction is great also: can understand every word. // One little caveat however: maybe a bit more vocal inflection, enthusiasm and suspense-building: video narration is a fine art.
SPLENDID use of music and sound effects: some excellent musical choices to suit the various portions of the video. // The visuals could use more work though: there are places where cuts are not smooth and one gets a jerky effect. Most notable is the segment that follows this point: 6:04. // please Please PLEASE tell me all the musical pieces though; you really know how to find the Good Stuff that hasn't been used again and again by hundreds of UA-camrs. I would recommend actually, listing the recordings used, in sequential order, in your introduction - give the title of the composition, the composer, and info regarding the recording. This will help set you apart from those who neglect such excellent details in their intos.
One more thing - and this isn't just nitpicking: i'd love to see you make this channel grow and succeed!!! i've been watching videos on the internet since about the turn of the millenium (2000), and have noticed that the most-watched ones usually have very little "down-time", where nothing is being said. (take Simon's splendid narration for example: he is one of the best video makers and narrators EVER) The most egregious spot on this video where this happens is between 9:15 and 11:50, where we are just watching the ship slowly sink between the waves, with nothing at all being added to the narrative. 2 minutes and 35 seconds of "dead air", although yes the music is great and the Dramatic Effect is cool, is just WAY too long for most people watching these days. Our collective attention span has greatly decreased in the past 20 years and this is a veritable ETERNITY in the context of what people will tolerate in these Decadent, fast-paced daze.
