  • Gabriel Dawe is a Mexican textiles artist whom creates stunning installations of structures made from stretched thread that seek to materialise light.
    Plexus no. 10, the most recent of the Plexus series and Dawe's biggest installation piece to date, was commissioned specifically for the main gallery of the National Centre for Craft & Design (Sleaford, UK).
    Visitors are encouraged to navigate through the gallery space and experience the piece which seeks to deal with issues of gender identity and social constructs.
    This film, a portrait of the artist and his work was shot during the installation of Plexus no. 10 and commissioned by the National Centre for Craft & Design.
