I didn't watch it, I knew it would just be a ton of hatred directed at trans people. I know people say that we people on the left refuse to engage with our critics, but bigotry is irrational and intentionally harmful, so why give it the time of day? If I meet somebody who disagrees with me who is willing to employ rationality rather than hate tactics, I might choose to engage with them, if I have the time and the energy. But we don't owe it to anyone to keep putting ourselves in the way of emotional harm just so they can tell us they hate us. I agree. Like - it’s ok to be a woman who likes to dress like a boy. I think people vastly underestimate the effect of hormones on the body. We don’t respect nature at all. It effects our whole system - it’s not just an aesthetic. Even birth control can increase chances of depression etc. 😢
@@00st307-m I haven’t got a problem with people wanting to be who they want to be. It’s everyone’s god given right. That being said, men and women are needed by the laws of nature to reproduce. Changing sex, or being homosexual, is against the laws of nature that we’ve been spawned from. Exceptions can be exceptions, but as soon as an exception becomes a rule - the human race will become screwed. All the LGBT promotion in the world can’t change that fact.

For the teenagers here, learn to separate an opinion to a hate speech, for the sanity of online communication. I disagree with this point of view which stipulates that if you're having a stereotypical feminine/masculine behaviour then you can "feel" that your sex is wrong. No. There are things such as your birth, your parents, your original s*x that you cannot choose. We're coming to an era where everything seems to be our personal choice while it's not. So Elliot Page (as a simple example while I'm here) stays a female whatever how the name have changed. There is no such thing like feeling that you are a man or a woman. It's all stereotypical and pointless. And why doing so ? You can still have the personality, the s*xual orientation and the style you want, whatever your s*x is. Let's deal with reality instead of living in a disillusion. We have VR for this.
@Real Aiglon I get what you say, theorically. I don't feel that way and we all feel different things. But concretely what is it to "feel" of a sex, if not to associate with gender steoreotypes ? What's the clear difference if they have X or Y body ? Stupid basic example : if i'm female and I associate myself with the social standards of heterosexual masculinity : attracted to the same sex, a kind of a tomboy, etc. Well I will probably be dealing with common problem of theirs, I will feel misunderstood as a girl but at last I still think that this "new" sexual identity is only finding a solution to a problem that is not, to conform to a cliché : "well now i'm a simple heterosexual guy and i have nothing else to explain about my likes". And beyond this feeling, it's a question of making it legal, transforming reality itself so that it meets the idea that we have of us, like transhumanism right ? How can we claim to be able to correct our true nature beyond mere preferences ?
@@JoeDurobot Wait... What? Maybe she identifies as several persons? Is that even a thing? Can you say : “I am two people”? Can you identified as a couple, even if you’re alone? I guess so... Why not?

This is an amazing antithesis to the Ben Shapiro clip that I just saw about him. 😐
Bigots like Ben Shapiro have free speech, but that doesn't mean that they're entitled to force us listen to them. And at some level, listening to them doesn't move the debate forward; rational argument moves debate forward, not sophistry designed to oppress others.
@@jp9707 so what's your rational argument?

@@00st307-mI think most people consider the effects before taking it. There are a lot of side effects (high blood pressure, higher risk of stroke, et cetera). If people take testosterone knowing the side effects, that shows they must be deeply unhappy to be willing to have them. Doctors don't prescribe it to patients without educating them.

Just ignore social media. You'll be better off.
