It's actually impressive how well Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic fit over Heavy Shinobi and Heavy King. Even the Sky Sanctuary Master Emerald Shrine is redesigned in a way that fits Mania's more bombastic style.
Not to mention the Big Arm fight. That fit so well over Heavy Gunner.

The way to beat the machine thing in sonic mania in the end when he does the freak out, is to dodge them, then count how many times he hits. If it hits 4, he strike where he is gonna land

It is called "The Egg Crusher" or the final boss from Sonic 1 if you want to be more exact.
That animation at the begining with the Final Zone boss was just too perfect!

Robotnik have pretty much Eggrobos, as we know Eggrobos can pilot his machines sooo in theory it's more than possible if Eggman REALLY try to kill Sonic.
I mean, this is good, but I kinda wish it wasn't just reskins of the existing bosses.
Final Zone wasn’t a reskin but it does use assets from sonic mania which are unused
