Hi Sheila just found your channel yay , I’ve just started back up crocheting, my mum had taught me the Basics so enjoying back to back videos of yours 🌸
Hello Sheila, I like your mouse poster. 🐭🥰 In the US, as others have mentioned, we have Carnation dry milk. I can still remember the taste, smell and grainy texture. I think it would be nasty in a cup of tea or for cereal. If dry milk turns yellow, it's probably gone off. Happy knitting! Take care 🇺🇲❤🇬🇧
Lovely to see your crafty mouse on display! I also miss the mini Sheila doll you had. We had powdered milk at work, back in the day, but it always seemed to go lumpy and weird in tea. As others have said, UHT milk is a standby, but I'm not keen on the taste of that either. I'm sure your friends appreciate your ability to fix their knitting conundrums! ❤
Hi Sheila...my husband drinks tea and prefers dried milk but he puts a teaspoon of powder straight into the cup. He finds Stirring the tea after removing the bag for a few seconds cools the tea enough otherwise the powder goes lumpy. Marvel and any other powdered milk seems to go off quickly so we put it into a tupperware type container. Also only use a dry spoon. We don't use it on cereal made up because it tastes awful. Sounds to me like condensed milk is your best option. Love your videos. Thank you x
Oh, ugh! I remember being given Carnation powdered milk as a kid, because it was cheaper than regular milk and money was scarce. The taste, the smell, the grains at the bottom of the glass. I still shudder at the memories and I'm in my 70's. LOL
Hi Sheila from Australia Cardigan looks lovely. Very neatly finished off. Sue should be more than happy. Love from LorraineRaven (BotanicRidge Australia) 🧶🧶🧶
Afternoon Sheila! ahh what a funny story about your neighbor ! Made me chuckle out loud , poor Sheila. Cardi looks beautiful . Sue will love it. Thanks for showing us . Never bought powdered milk. I have used evaporated milk but did not ever use it with water mixed in ! Don’t worry about your rants Sheila. Plenty to rant about these days! At least you have us to rant to! Have a nice evening ,❤xx 🍁🎃🍄🧶🧶happy knitting !
Good evening Sheila 🙏 I love your video was the dried milk in date maybe that is why it was going to the bottom of your cup it was just a thought 😀 take care xxx
We have Carnation dry milk here in US that I have used. It has a weird taste. I’ll only use it in bread making. Like you, I rely on evaporated milk when out of regular milk.

Awwww Sheila so funny your neighbour is obviously very comfortable in your home 🤣🤣.
We have Marvel if we run out of milk just use a teaspoon in a cup of tea seems OK
A good cupboard stand by is the long life milk ,handy in an emergency,no need to refrigerate,I think it beats the powder milk.
That is what i usually have Sarah but had used all that too..kept forgetting to get more..🤗
