    Add a tungsten nail weight from WOO! In conjunction with that loop knot for another awesome tweak for fluke fishing. Another great video. Love the slomo re-play of the skip.

      Old Lady Angler I’m thinking he’s talking about a Neko Rig where the nail goes in the head of the Senko. Causes the head to float to bottom first with Senko standing straight up. You’re a killer, though, with the weightless. Wish I could skip with a spinning reel. I can do it with a baitcaster but need practice with the spinning reel. It’s very cool for Chad to watch your channel. You’ll be winning tournaments soon.
      I’m also a Greg Blanchard fan. That guy can fish, and Fish the Moment is the best teacher on UA-cam!
      Is your Kayak a Native Watercraft like Greg’s?

    Hola O'la, congrats on the 2K subs. 16 mph cross wind sounds like fun. 7th place, moving up, that's awesome. Late:23 am, that's my favorite time :) You have quite a few camera's, is there a time code you sync up sound and video with your do you just do it manually? You skipped that bait right to him, that was stellar. Nice work on the upgrade. Awesome sauce. Take care & tight lines.

    Do you use one piece or two piece rods? I have read a lot of posts about two-piece rods not being as good as 1-piece. I do like the convenience of a two piece rod for transport.

    • @OldLadyAngler
      @OldLadyAngler  4 роки тому

      All of my rods are 1 piece. I have four that are 6'6" and one that is 7'6". It still fits in my truck cab, no problem. The one piece rods feel stronger, in my opinion. I do have several salt water rods that are 2 piece. Haven't used them in a while though. Thanks for watching.

    Have you considered a Micro Pole anchor?

    • @OldLadyAngler
      @OldLadyAngler  5 років тому

      I have considered it.... for just a split second. I decided that it was not worth the added weight for me. I really value that 59 pound hull and I don't use an anchor too often. The wind today was pretty excessive. I have a mud stick and / or small anchor that I can bring if needed. The mud stick would have been perfect today!! Thanks for watching and commenting.
