      Gaylord was spectacular, but it's a shame Carter screwed the 1980 Olympic team--Kurt Thomas was reigning world champion and probably would have won gold at the 1980 Olympics. As great as he was, he never won an Olympic medal.

Another thing, simply because someone is from Mexico doesn´t eliminate the possbility that they can attend UCLA. Sooo. Kelly. here is the link of the article that backs up my claim that Tony attended UCLA. I hope it´s CLEAR enough for you. www.upi.com/Archives/1984/08/01/Tony-Pineda-Mexicos-one-man-Olympic-gymnastics-team-hopes-to/6830460180800/

      @robertoduarte5018 3 роки тому +2

      @@kellyanderson7624 I respect your point of view, and of course the name of the move is "Gaylord" this is because Mitch was the first one that did it in an international competition, but that doesn't mean that he invented it. Tony Pineda invented Pineda 1 and Pineda 2, and Mitch Gaylord learned Pineda 2. However in the competition both athletes attempted the move, but Pineda was not able to catch the bar, when Mitch did it, that's why the move is called "Gaylord".

      Yeah, we called it "side horse" back in the '70's . We called the handles pommels though. I'm guessing it was because most of the exercise is performed facing the side of the horse rather than lengthwise as one would ride a real horse.

Maybe it's hardly ever said in America but you wouldn't survive school here if that was your name. I'm only relaying what i witnessed around me growing up during school.
