Oddly enough, there's already a Dynasty reboot, and they casted Michael Michele (who bears a resemblance to Ms. Williams) as Dominique Devereux.
That reboot was garbage. The Dallas one about a decade ago was brilliant

Ironically, the Dynasty reboot DID cast Vanessa Williams ' doppelganger, actress Micheal Michelle as Dominique ( of New Jack City fame , E.R. , Law and Order SVU , and countless other VIP guest starring roles throughout TV ).
I think casting directors always cast MM , when they really want Vanessa and can't get her for whatever reason.😊

I think they hired Michael Michelle in Lue of Vanessa, because Vanessa would’ve turned that role down. It wasn’t written well.
