Let’s folks KNOW the importance of having DETROIT in your college programs....or play at ones own risk when you face us. Band folks from here all share one common trait....we have a ton of pride....and a ton of sound. Like mentioned by my mans in the other post, the majority of the bands here are smallish....especially compared to the schools in the South. So our kids are taught to compensate for lack of numbers with heart, and sound. Great event. Wish I could’ve attended, but seeing on here was just as good. I swell with pride from the folks that went and represented the city. Big up’s to my dogs with the ELITE....and others familiar faces I saw and know in other bands. Respect.
marcussubr It was one of those magical moments.... we just spent the last 4 hours playing at each other and talking trash... and at that one moment ... just like that... we forgot all that other shit. And started cranking together. I will never forget that... the love for this band shit is incredible...
