Everyone is a soldier in Major Paynes eyes. In the actual military you are all soldiers, airmen, seamen, or marines in their eyes. You can't discriminate. You can only salute to your higher ranking officers.

The best part of this movie is the fact that he never discriminates even when the kids father abused the kid he still defended the kid from his dad. He didn't discriminate he treated all the kids equally and in the end made them better people. When you think about it it's a very wholesome movie.
Major Payne is an ideal example of tolerance. He doesn't really care who you are, white, black or yellow. No favours, no one, for him you are first and foremost a soldier. At the present time, this film is more than relevant

My dad is a retired USAF E-6 and I was in the Army but didn't pass BCT. This was one of our favorite movies! We were laughing so hard in this scene; especially the way Payne talked to Williams. Epic comedy! Aha-ha!

I think deaf people appreciate this movie, because the deaf guy gets included by also being punished, just like everyone else. Handicap people can appreciate adjustments for their comfort, but I'm pretty sure many of them hate the 'priviliges' that come with a 'handicap'. I myself have a balance issue, but I really don't like taking elevators, so I always take the stairs, and I feel more comfortable standing when going on public transport. Doing things the hard way, will make you feel more included, and can toughen you up, but I can definitely understand the hassles and obstructions that for example wheelchair users still have to face... so respect for the H people ❤❤❤
