I still can not believe BcJ didn't get picked up. Dudes so cracked and the positivity he most likely brings to a team is probably unmatched. Dude has serious physical health issues but is one of the most positive people I've ever seen despite what he goes thru every day. I would assume that carries over to in-game mental and I can see him keeping the vibes up during matches as well as keeping the team from getting checked if things aren't going their way
He's been overshadowed because he plays traditional sentinels like KJ and Cypher, probably the best Cypher in the world. They are kinda obsolete right now because of that mother fucking rich French guy that has a scoped pistol.
Thanks for mentioning EDG, they were an incredibly fun team to watch. But had a very bad run due to unfortunate circumstances with player "Life" getting covid, truly sucks since it was pretty much their one and only chance to represent China.
If only the game was released in China...they'd atleast be top 3 in the Pacific league imo Behind only DRX and PRX,maybe Zeta if they reach their peak form
A lot of you guys mentioned that Surf is actually taking a break for his studies - so a slight correction there. Also, there's been loads of good suggestions for players - do we need a part 2? :)
Though I'm not 100% on this, I believe Surf (or maybe his parents) may have decided it was best for him to go back to studies and leave Valorant on the side. He was actually scouted by sScary from the ranked leaderboards to play for XERXIA as a uncut gem that needed to be constantly hammered into by his teammates to change his mindset and gameplay style from ranked mode to professional gaming - that being said, I'm sure he'll get an offer from a Thai org if he does decide to continue to pursue valorant and perhaps TALON may still be interested if he chooses to pursue the career full time. Funnily enough, the original replacement for Patiphan was supposed to be GarnetS (Who is now signed to TALON), but he got snubbed by X10 so the ended up going with Surf instead. After all, there is no shortage of cracked aimers in APAC on duelist/chamber duty, but the competitive teamplay and other roles tend to be lacking.
Ooh I didn't know about this interesting fact! Surf looked better everytime he played on the global stage from Masters 1 to Champs, and was looking forward to seeing him next year. But I guess for now we got Talon for some Thai FPS action.
Idk man. I think taking patiphan instead of surf is a degrade at this point. Surf alrdy proved his potential in masters and patiphan has injury and also he was away from valorant for a while
@@1myst287 That I agree with. Pati could still be insane but I wouldn't put all my expectations on him just yet - otherwise it'll be a repeat of OWL and he won't be able to live up to expectations initially. I personally would like to see garnetS start.
I'd also mention aproto and aleksandar. Both are aim gods and aproto is a sentinel veteran and a great overall smokes player, while aleksandar is criminally underrated as a flex / initiator.

There are hassles of salarying extra players, not to mention in-game chemistry, but it might be cool to have a larger complement of players at the ready rather than just the 1 sub.
Just my two cents but having more than a 5 player roster within more tactical games like Val or CS generally just doesn’t seem to work out. Obviously in a game like Overwatch with many different metas and comps you see players being cycled in and out as needed, but I think most orgs and coaches realize that they’re better off having 5 players who are extremely comfortable playing off one another and gave good chemistry, rather than having a player only come in for 1 or 2 maps in their pool. It’d be cool to see it work but so far the only teams I can think of who tried it in T1 were what, Vision Strikers and Crazy Racoons? It’s a gamble especially considering orgs probably don’t want to be paying salaries when the chances of a buyout for your 7th man are unlikely with all the talent that will be in Ascension.
Cause if you’re a good enough of a player to be a 6th man, you might as well join a new roster and go through ascension, so the subs you could get are worst than players who’ll join ascension, for example, shashzam, dapr, Trent, will, they’re all solid t1 players, but you won’t see them on a franchise org cause they’ll have better chance at competing by joining the t2 scene
@@siren604 You make a good point. I'm intrigued with the idea nonetheless, because we saw some potential in its viability. Around late 2020 to early 2021, Na'vi CSGO was using a 6-man team(flamie would swap out b1t for one or two particular maps) before Valve stepped in and imposed harsh point deductions for teams using subs. These franchise teams are gonna regret not getting these players once ascension starts. Imo some ascension teams are going to be better than franchise teams.
And I still cannot believe that EG picked up Supa and Ethan, having guys like Dapr, Shaz, Leo, Meddo and BCG on the market… I genuinely think these guys would fit perfectly on Evil Geniuses, but somehow, they kept C0M in the main roster (on my opinion he is a 6th man at best) and I love the young core of Boostio and Jawgemo, and they would fit perfectly with vets like Shaz, Dapr and BCG on the team, but EG somehow didn’t got that right….
u mean bcj? also none of them main smokes except maybe bcg- wait no bcj but he plays initiator more. and ethan was previously signed to eg so there was prolly a bias

Reports are saying that NaVi are signing the old FPX roster aside from ardiis, who's going to NRG, and getting cNed as a replacement! I made a tier list video for every team in franchising (with their new/reported rosters) if you want any more info on NaVi or anyone else :)
@@CommendYT gonna have to tune into that, remnants of the FPX roster are really good and having cNed as a replacement will be really nice too
Another great video! Tho i am REALLY interested on how you think teams that participated in the india invitational and dajeong invitational perform.
I haven't been watching that tournament, but I'll watch some VODs from it definitely!
No one cares about APAC kid 😂
@@thewhutnow5795 yeah because its underrated af, they are starting to become consistent, stay with your EMEA and America's and ill stay at apac.
shiet... so true, but that last picture gave me subroza vibes more than Marved. I agree that Marved not being in any team is a shame, but Subroza could do some serious damage in franchising as well.
5:13 famouz and berserx is JAOL... it means they are only good play online but very having bad performance while they playing on LAN... franchise will take place at LAN tournament the organitation cannot bare such risk like this.. that's why they not choose out
franchising is the death of the tier 2 + scene.
the title gave a migraine
Babybay went from calling Bang trash to not being seen anywhere in Valorant scene while bang is known as one of the best Controller in NA, most improved and most consistent player in NA
Just a quick note: at Istanbul and Copenhagen Kingg was IGL for Leviatán, not Adverso
Otherwise nice vid tho
insane that the guard didn't get in
Shahzam
Well one thing I can say is no one will miss BabyJ
What an insane play from Enzo🔥🔥🔥
Pros don't fake
6:10 This aged perfectly.
Will to the guard and thats a stacked ascension roster, all im sayin...
WAIT TRUE
babybay?
These franchise teams are gonna regret not getting these players once ascension starts. Imo some ascension teams are going to be better than franchise teams.
I thought Enzo was rumored to be on the KCorp team with scream and nivera
@@hamm9571 yep i mean bcj, supa is a minor upgrade still on my opinion, but i think bcj can play the controller role pretty well
Kangkang was in this video damnnnn
Man I really wanted to see more of Edward Gaming
edg's "solid" showing at champs was only winning a single map
For a team who we'd never seen before to destroy the entire East Asia LCQ and then take a map off 2nd place at the previous masters, I'd say it was a pretty solid showing, yeah
Just wanted to note, adverso was not Leviatan's igl, it was always k1ng. Great video tho
is patiphan part of the main 5 or just a sub ?
What about Sinatra? He is also probably one of the best players in valorant right now but still no franchising team picked him up....SAD
WIth Babybay, Dicey, Trent, Marved, Valyn the NA free agents are arguably one of the best team in the world
Did FNS make it?
@@Goatedger most likely the rest of optic (except yay on c9) is on nrg but i dont think it was announced yet
autumn in lacunosa a banger
Marved is here.
i still cant believe bcj hasnt been picked up
Great video but you missed two cracked controller players F4q Zunba and Sscary and Nrg benched players Nrg Hazed , bencrg Eeiu, Nrg tex, Nrg Ethan
Zunba probably would be in franchising but if I recall isn’t he serving in the Korean Military currently?
ethan is rumored to be picked up by EG i believe
Dapr is on G2 now let's goo
Wait wait wait, BCJ GOT DROPPED bro that guy was the goat
In 2024 Enzo and Mistic has now been signed to Team Liquid
Everyone's sleeping on zander
god i love pokemon music
Tons of na teams that should have been the guard built from the ground up huge fanbase and no previous drama in other esports *cough* eg
What I heard, Surf retires to focus on his studies.
GUARD neT is easily one of the best sentinel players if traditional sentinels comeback to the meta tgrd net will for sure be one of the highest value players
why are they making the tournaments smaller and smaller. they already werent big to begin with in terms of matches played.
the pokemon x bg in the video.
adverso wasn't the igl of leviatan. Kingg was the igl, he even said it on a video he did for on the spot
Honestly in the long run it would’ve been better if Optic played Tier 2 and won their way to franchising. They would basically be Smurfing lol
You didn't mention Yay the most unfortunate amongst all, the el diablo
surf is retiring to purse his studies btw
Yooo bcj went to eg,also pretty surf retired voluntarily
EG rlly wasted a franchising when they have so many options
Why are u guys blaming EG lol EG already has a team and they trusting its players
This aged horribly.
? lmao
@@icantread4707 Truee, Marved was picked up by Sen and now we won't be seeing Tenz for a while (might be fully dropped for this season idk) and Yay was dropped by C9 making him ineligible to play in Tier 1 Valorant this season.
@@yubiex tenz is back
@@enton0858 Lmao that for a while lasted for 4 days
bdog, tex, and moose with eeiu maybe thrown in there too. Not necessarily a LG fanboy or anything but I think bdog has always been in contention for like top 4-5 chambers in na with the likes of yay, cryo, and probably dicey with players like tex and tenz close behind
crazy how yay woulda been on this list now
