Located in southwest China's Sichuan Province, Mount Emei is renowned for its beautiful and fairy-like sceneries, often being dubbed the "Most beautiful mountain in the country." Besides the landscape, Mount Emei has a rich culture of martial arts, including the traditional Emei Fist. Created by a martial artist named Situ Xuankong, the Fist originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, nearly 3,000 years ago. The Emei Fist emphasizes the use of palms and fingers. The smaller the target area, the greater the force used. Hohoho, actually I was born under Emei mountain and grown up here. It is my hometown! We go to those places very often in weekends or holidays. Now I am studying aboard, but soon I will be back home! So happy to see this in forein land... oh I miss home so badly....I wanna go back now....

Is it common for people growing up in Emei to practice Emei martial arts ?

I used to practice in the Redwood Forest in Santa Cruz, California, USA. There are creeks and wild orchids. I like to practice Bagua and Tai Chi. I am no longer confused or aggressive and I like ginseng tea.

三千年前中國武術多為保衛家鄉用的，而後隨著戰爭兵器的進步國家壯大軍隊擴軍，絕大多數地方武術變成威嚇盜匪和修身養性的性質，現在全國多數拳法都已經是養身運動真的能有實戰性的很少，你說"中國武術就是吹，捧得高高"這都是你們這些沒學過武術又受中國近代文學的影響所導致的，許多傻子看了小說裡過度神化的武術傻傻吹出來的，真正的中國武術如同韓國的跆拳道一樣都有其價值，你說中國武術上擂台撐不到10秒這不是廢話嗎，你見過一個打跆拳道的上拳擊擂台嗎? 沒有吧。

中國武術鍛鍊的目的不是只有強身，也包含內心(能打的拳法含包含著身姿與走位)，跟西方搏擊本來就不是同一種運動，西方人的搏擊本身就是朝著西方人龐大的體格發展的，他們有他們的訓練目標(像是增加自身肌肉量來打出重擊，還有擂台上的走位法)，你用非黑即白的思考方式來比較兩種不一樣的運動目的為何? 這樣酸中國武術就會讓你開心? 你們這類人不去討論把中國武術跟西方搏擊放在同一個擂台到底有沒有意義，反而用酸那些傻吹來自爽?
