You know what an ex boyfriend of one year and one month did to me?
He called me for the last time, reassured me that he’ll call the next day so I should go to sleep. Then we said goodnight baby, eyes full of love and I was smiling like an idiot knowing that I’m going to sleep with his goodnight.
The next day, I said good morning baby. I did not get it back. I did not get a single reply the next day. I tried calling him. He turned my calls off. He disappeared just like that.
He did that for two days straight. I was worried sick. I was imagining the worst about his safety. However, I saw that he was online. So, I decided to ask his friend to ask him for me. He told her that ‘I can’t do this with her anymore that’s why I left her clueless about the break up’.
Yes. We broke up like that. Through his friend. Well, then obviously we as girls when we love, we love hard like there’s no tomorrow. So, I decided to be annoying and called him a few times more. I wanted him to call me for the last time as for that night I did not know that it was the last call, the last time that I’ll ever get to see him. I was not prepared. I wanted him to call me and tell me what’s wrong but he didn’t.
Why didn’t he call nor give me a closure? Because he found someone else already. He felt another touch from another girl less than a week after the break up. My baby boy was lying in someone’s else arms.
After that, he told me not to disturb him and then he blocked me just like that.

There was a boy I was in love with. We went to the same high school (and now college). He was beautiful, with soulful eyes and a wide smile. We were paired up for an assignment and on the instances we did talk, conversation flowed so smoothly. I felt as though I could tell him anything. Like you know that love affair was nothing but a brisk episode in your life, a painful one, of course, but brief nonetheless. But this stripped version is the emotional one. This is when you get hit with the dreadful realisation that maybe you are indeed destined to die alone. That there's no hope for you.
