So I made one of these soon after you uploaded this video and I've used it ever since! At first I wasn't sure about the need for something like this for my personal EDC, but its become an essential item that goes everywhere with me now. Fits nicely my Spyderco Delica, Streamlight Microstream penlight, lighter, lens cloth and lens pen.
Just made one. Not quite your skill and a basic sewing machine. Love your videos. Hopefully I’ll be able to make everything you have given instructions to make. I’ve learned so much by just doing. Thankyou ❤
I made two, one for myself and one for my daughter. came out really nice!!! now I have ideas for all kinds of things to make. Thanks for doing this video and all your others. they are great.
You did a really good job mate. Did you give any thought to extending the panel with the slots on it by 2-3cm, sewing the short ends of each panel flush and then sewing it flat (centered) on the long sides so the longer panel gives you a 1cm reveal either side of the zip end and takes some of the bulk out of the seam where the zipper is trying to fold back on itself.
Keep these videos up, Love it! I have an embroidery business and am now branching off to make some tactical bags. I want to design and create my own tactical canteen carrier as I have an infatuation with hydration it seems..... I'm ordering a Sailrite Fabricator machine, as it seems to have all the features and functions I think I'll need for some heavy fabric. Your videos are super helpful! Thank you:)
Thanks for sharing the video. Iv enjoyed a few of your diy vids so far ( need to watch more). One suggestion if you don't mind: Please slow it down, add voice/commentary and skip the background music. I don't care if your English isn't perfect (since I know your from Europe somewhere). thanks for the vids!
I have been looking for a marking tool to use that stands out...what is the pencil that you're using as it looks like it's much more precise than tailor's chalk.
Great stuff as usually , mate! What I would really like to see is how to make bags with "deep" pockets. You know, know just two pieces of cloth against each other but with some volume inside. There are probably many techinques but this would be really interesting to see. Or maybe something bigger? Like a simple travel bag? :) Anyhow, awesome stuff and keep up the good work!
Is there any particular reason why you use polyester thread as opposed to nylon? I'm just getting used to my old Seiko walking foot machine and am researching which type of thread would be best to get.
@@AdventureGearProjects Why does everyone recommend bonded nylon for tactical gear then? New and just bought my first sewing machine and from the research I've done seems bonded nylon is wheat everyone uses for tac/outdoor gear. tarps/ things in the sun for long hrs and multiple days seem then people use polyester as its more uv resistant. Curious if you can elaborate on this. Thanks.
@@AdventureGearProjects Thankyou. Just getting into it so this will be my first project. You have any advice on a good “starter kit” of tools materials etc. thanks for your time
@@Phlfwlr well the total cost of Materials is beyond 2€ but you have to consider your personal time of work, wear of the machine and the time to invent stuff! All this summed up makes the final selling price!
You videos and bags are top notch. I really like that you show all your tools and what needles and thread you use. Thanks again!
Made this today in a couple hours, Pencott Badlands 500D - Thank you!
thank you. I did this today with my mom. Its my EDC Wallet now.
Sounds perfekt! Thx that you like it!🤘😎

Danke für die Anleitung… hat super geklappt 👍
To ensure that cord on a zipper is more rigid, you can use electrical thermo cuff on a cord. I use it on my every project that has a zipper
I wish I had a talent like you
Well, you can learn it 😉 just give it a try
Thanks for the video, pattern and instructions. Just built one from scraps.
I love it. You rock! 👍
Your videos have inspired me to get a sewing machine and try some of this for myself, Thanks!!!
Love to hear that and you are very welcome 🤘😎 glad to have you on board🤜🤛

I have been looking for a marking tool to use that stands out...what is the pencil that you're using as it looks like it's much more precise than tailor's chalk.
The pencil is the chalkmarker from Prym
Great video, where did you get the binding attachment? I am after one like that.
Glad you like it. The binding Attachment is from Sailrite. It is the 1" swing away binder! Cheers
What do you call the attachment you use to fold the fold the webbing while feeding under the foot?
It is called a swing away single fold binder 🤘😎
What is the bit you edge the back panel with please
It is called binding tape and I did it with a 1" single fold binder!
Do u have a pattern? Looking for the size of the fabric pieces? Thanks ✌️ awesome video I'm inspired
The Pattern is shown at the Beginning of the Video🤘😎

I will consider doing that🤘😎 Next Project will be a Dump Pouch or Drop Pouch! Thx that you love my work and Videos so much!🤜🤛
Really keen to see a drop pouch 👀🙌🏼 Amazing work as usual! Keep it up! Would also been keen to see a larger bag made in your style 👍🏼
Sehr gutes Video, Abo dagelassen, Grüße von Ruhrpott Outdoor
Wunderbar !!!
Do you have any tips about finding materials/suppliers?
Well... That depends on which country you are from. If you are from Europe, then I recommend Tacticaltrim, Orkan Tactical and Contact Left. 🤘😎
Can you help me with the make and model machine please?
I released the Tutorial with Measurements... What else would you might need?
What is that piece called that you installed on your sewing machine?
It is called "Binder" or "Swing away Binder" and you can get it at Sailrite.com in the US
Is there any particular reason why you use polyester thread as opposed to nylon? I'm just getting used to my old Seiko walking foot machine and am researching which type of thread would be best to get.
Polyester has less stretch and this Thread is perfect for Cordura and is very durable which makes it perfect for this application
@@AdventureGearProjects thank you!

New to this but what is that attachment called at the very beginning
Hallo and Welcome! The Attachment is called Binding Attachment or Swing Away Single Fold Binder for 1", 25mm binding tape🤘😎

Wow! :)
Wenn ich doch nur nähen könnte! ...würde ich dennoch bei dir bestellen ✌️ lg Christoph
What kind of sewing machine are you using?
I use a Industrial Sewing Machine, a Typical GC6-7D Walking Foot Machine
Awesome! Can I ask how much it cost for the materials for a pouch like this not including the sewing machine?

whats the size of that grosgrain?
It is 25mm Bindingtape😎🤘
@@AdventureGearProjects nice thanks for the quick reply
Pls change music
No!

Please try to choose something other than the horrid default UA-cam background "music". It's an instant "skip video"...
Thank you for the Feedback 😎🤘
