It's actually 5x, not 4. Sebastian needs the 5th so his damage grows and he will out-damage Jhu if you are doing it right. If you want to have more dmg in the Osh fight, try raising Isaac's weapon art and nothing else by around 13 points. That'll get you into a 4x stack window that even Sebastian will do max damage. I barely tried this last weekend and got 100mil on 160. We all do around 100mil most weeks, but the real trick is hitting those 300mil numbers per guildie that God Eaters and AoD are doing. Raising only Isaac's weapon art doesn't seem to make the orbs die too fast to get the stacks, so it's where I'd recommend putting any points first... then add more to Sebastian's ring for more armor so you can go full Albus instead of Axel on 160.
If we assume that 3x Ults from Isaac + Fenris + Jhu AP will be enough (to make Osh160 naked) then that means that after 2x Ults, AP will be still too less. So you will not kill spheres too early. It will just mean that after 3x ults (instead 4x) Jhu is ready to make decent hits. Definitely safe will be books with AP (Ishmael) and Armors (Rufus)
Yes, it looks to me that it will end up with 3x ults. Which might still be worse as compared to 4. Not, because it doesnt get rid of the armor but because 4 buffs last longer. AP for Ishmael and armor for Rufus sounds safe indeed!
Thanks Cornelius , appreciate the efforts you give to make these videos, .. not only are they informative ,..but a pleasure to watch,.. huge Kudos for the skills involved ,... your mate , ZoSo
Now that's one heck of a bad advice. You absolutely want to max 1-st arti ASAP for pretty much everyone. First off Isaac with max weapon will need to keep only 3 stacks of his buff, instead of 4. Jhu and Seb's crit chance will increase their damage output, Nebula's phys attack buff will increase damage output. Martha's 1-st arti will now be able to increase everyone's but Jhu's armor above meteor shower AP decreasing the damage drastically with only ONE ult, which used to be 2 before, that's a real game changer.
I get that increasing the artifacts makes your heroes stronger. So generally that helps in many situations. As the video pointed out it might not help in Osh fights (if you already have quite strong heroes to start with). If you are not interested in Osh fights, just increase them :-).
@@CorneliusSecrets Oh I was referring to Osh team specifically. Considering your Osh team is maxed on armor and Seb has ring at 130, plus Martha's pot is 130, this means you're completely safe from the shower, the only one whose armor is going to be penetrated is Jhu, but he's mostly immortal anyway. That's the least I'm doing now, and I'll also going to level all Osh team weapon artis as soon as I get resources.
@@Mallor998 But his point is, receiving less damage means less ults, means less total damage. So that is why you might want to be careful raising those?
I believe nextars will eventually patch any mechanic that punishes people for developing their heros. Its incredibly detrimental to their business model for players to have strong incentive to NOT spend money.
lol...great vid. you all need to chill. Cornelius is just saying have patience and see...good advice across this whole game. can you honestly say you never leveled up a hero too fast and missed that 'sweet spot' or actually weakened your synergy? martha health? jorgen leper?
hello, it's been discovered which hero between the five should be better to leave behind with artifact ? ... ask because I'm leaving back nebula but I actually use her in pvp (also sebastian)...
objection. First artifacts are good idea to level up for those why? for each ultimate they will give more crit (sebastian and jhu) = higher chance to do a crit hit. Max attack (nebula) - no need to explain that one. Armor (Martha) - better chance to survive meteor shower. And finally higher armor penetration. If it excaped you - agility ring gives more armor to agi heroes not more magic defense (so no change there). Ultimates will give higher buff (and it might be that 3 ultimates on new max will give more or less the same amount of buf as 4 did before). Isaac book gives physical attack and armor penetration. You are also forgetting that first 2 ultimates of isaac will give very little damage to spheres (they are more for the silencing effect) and only 3rd one gives damage. Also if you overpower (your armor penetration is higher then opponent armor, you will still deal the same amount of damage Isaac charging comes from his max hp (the higher HP, the more magic damage is transferred), and there is no change in that (none of his artifacts gives him more hp). And one more thing that is not correct in that video. The biggest damage dealer is suprisingly sebastian and not jhu. Why? Maybe because jhu as str damage dealer does not have as powerful attack as agi based damage dealer. And that is even if we include his speedups and his pure damage ever so often.
Hey, thanks for your comment! In my opinion, the problem with increasing artifacts is that each increase directly or indirectly increases the likelihood that some of the spheres will die before Isaac can cast his 4th artifact buff. Regardless of whether Sebastian or Jhu is the biggest damage dealer, having fewer armor penetration buffs from Isaac will likely have a big impact on their damage. On Martha: Increasing her artefacts could affect the rate of energy generation and thus damage in general. Since it is not possible to undo a change, I am generally very cautious and think it is worth giving it some time before investing.
Not to offend you, mate, but there are so many silly things you've stated here, that I don't even know where to begin. So I'll adress 2 major ones... 1) Isaac's charge rate has almost nothing to do with HP. Sure, the stat itself is represented in the equasion, but if you'll check the formula for it, it takes only 0,012% of Isaac's HP into calculation... And even less for his allies - 0,003% for each ally... Doesn't take much time or effort to see that HP is ALMOST irrelevant here. From the more practical point I can say that my Isaac was charging ALMOST at the same rate when he was Purple +3 hero and now when he's Red +1 with maxed Ascension stats. The difference only appeared after I raised his Mag Def during my climb up the Ascension ladder and only for heroes who lack Mag Pen to overwhelm kid's resist to magic. 2) Seb tops damage chart vs Osh cos' when he boosts crits that OTHER heroes do, his 3rd skill takes all the credit for the bonus damage that was done. That's why when you take Seb into the fight alone or with healers only, his achievments are far less impressive.
@@Antagonopolis Isaac charge is % and not flat numbers. that part is really important. and also it does not seem much, it will add up. Isaac magic defense seems like a bad idea right until that moment when he is hanging there on a sliver of health after meteorite shower. And speaking of meteorite shower for some heroes with increased armor buf it might start showing difference on damage taken. If you take out Sebastian from that team, jhu, isaac and nebula will perform worse to way worse. Sebastian is the piece that gives those big numbers, while isaac is the tank of the team and can open boss with enough armor penetration. if you had switched jhu with yasmine and then sebastian with yasmine (crit effect should be in theory the same, team with sebastian will perform better. Also also upon 3rd to 4th ultimate, isaac will destroy all spheres (right after first meteor shower), which would also make him better damage performing hero in a short period of time. Jhu in that team is way more for his crit buf and big health and invulnerability skill. so yeah, sadly jhu as a str based hero is worse damage dealer in general than agi based heroes. The main reason i do not like this video, is that author is talking about something without knowing or showing new maxed levels for artifacts and what it will do with stats or bufs. Without that comparisons, statements that 3 ultimates will be weaker than previous 4 ultimates have no ground what so ever. He just thinks that new 3 stacked bufs will be less than previous 4 bufs. and if ever he knows it, he does not show it. So that makes it sadly a clickbait video.
I never said that 3 post-cap-increase stacked buffs are worth less than 4 pre-cap-increase buffs. What I am saying is we don't know how it will all work with the new values at maximum. It might work well with 3 buffs and new max values. But it's also possible that it won't be 3 buffs, but only 2 buffs after the spheres are dead, in which case the armor penetration might not be enough. Comparing the effective numbers will certainly be useful when they are available. Also: This game is full of examples where it is beneficial not to increase certain things (e.g. specific skills and health of some heroes). Therefore, it would not be surprising if this also applies to artifacts in level 160 Osh fights. We don't know yet. And if we hurry, we can't undo it. That's the gist of this video: Be patient.
@@CorneliusSecrets and with the fresh datamine now we know. if you max out artifact again, each will give around 56% increase on level 130 compared to level 100. Because these stats do point out, that leveling up artifacts will be very beneficial for asgaard meta as they will push more damage and will have easier time to survive. And as to answer it, please read isaac skills to understand why he needs at least 3 ultimates to finish off those spheres. That is because only upon 3rd ultimate his violet skill will activate. On second ultimate drones are out, but those drones will not be strong enough to finish of the spheres. And since heroes behind him are mostly single target heroes, they will not be fast enough to finish off that many spheres.

Hey, unfortunately I still don't have a definitive answer. I think it will take a while yet. If anyone has any useful information, please share. The top guild in the Asgard guild ranking has done over 8.7bn damage (Fire and Ice). So I guess they know something ;-). At the moment I'm slowly levelling up Sebastian's 2nd and 3rd artefact (when the resources dribble in). I think these two artefacts are very important for most PVP fights, as they help Sebastian to use his ultimate even faster. Inceasing them might also kill the Osh Spheres faster. But my Osh team is far from being strong enough against level 160 Osh anyway. And if you only increase Sebastian's artefacts one or two levels a week, he's unlikely to surpass the sweet spot on his own. I'm investing the resources for the first artefact into Aurora because I think it's the best I can do for PvP right now. After that, I'm not sure what to do, to be honest. A friend told me this about Marthas first artefact, so maybe that is a good choice while holding back Isaacs first artefact: If Sebastian's armor is at maximum and Martha's first artefact weapon is active during Meteor Shower: - The damage dealt to Sebastian by Meteor Shower is reduced by 25%. - The damage inflicted on Isaac by the meteor shower is also reduced by 77.9%. - With Nebula, the damage reduction is slightly higher.
