This presentation will introduce evidence-based strategies for promoting bilingual vocabulary development in dual language learners (DLLs). Participants will learn developmentally appropriate strategies for providing explicit vocabulary instruction and building vocabulary throughout the day. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a plan for implementing the strategies in their own classroom. Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching (K-2)
