I don’t think Dak has had a better career than Cam. Dak’s career will be longer, but not as high. Cam has had much higher peaks. Cam won a Heisman, a national championship, 1st overall pick, nfl rookie of the year, nfl mvp, Super Bowl. Dak hasn’t don’t any of that! Not even close!
Well Dak did win ROTY. But other than that you’re right, cam def had the better career and revolutionized the game at the QB position. He was really the only legit dual threat qb in the league during his time, now it seems like half the qb’s in the nfl are dual threat. Not a coincidence

I'd say Dak had a lot more opportunities to be great and even had better teams. If Cam had as many chances as Dak to do something, I don't think he'd have been out of the league.

One thing that people hold against Cam is his completion percentage with Stephen A Smith brings up but ignore the fact that Cam really pushed the ball down the field. He wasn’t in a West Coast system where the passes were shorter.
He played in an outdated system before Norv came in 2018. The system he played in most of his career was run first and mainly relied on deep or medium throws. It didn't rely on checkdown passes until C-Mac got there.

I was born & raised in Atlanta, so it was required to hate on Cam while he was with the Panthers because team loyalty and all that. But we only hated on him because he was SO DAMN GOOD and we knew he was gonna embarrass our Falcons any time they met up. Deep down, we all secretly loved him and were proud to see an Atlanta kid reaching such high levels everywhere he went. I guess a lot of these "commentators" must’ve been too young to actually watch Cam play, either in the NFL or in college, because anyone who did knew that he was absolutely electric and was a true game CHANGER. He was what we had all hoped Vick would be, only Cam actually worked hard and didn’t murder/torture dogs and spend his prime playing years in jail. You could’ve put him up against any quarterback at the time and he could’ve outperformed any of them on any given Sunday. Even though his accuracy wasn't great, it was nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.The reason why he had a lot of seasons where he has barely thrown 60% or less of his passes is because the offense he was playing in before Norv became oc in 2018. Cam's first seven years played in an offense that mainly relied on deep and medium thrown balls and hardly any checkdowns. It was a run first offense with him , DeAngelo, and J-Stew, even though Newton threw for 4000 yards and rushed 700 more his rookie season.
Once again Cam is on point. These analysts are fluid all the time never taking a stand nor admiting to being wrong for the most jumping boats in mid stream😢

Dallas has three future Hall Of Fame Offensive Linemen. They had Amari Cooper, who went over 1,000 every year he was there. Zeke Elliott, who was prime for 3 years. Dallas also had top defensive players for most of Dak's career.
Cam played with Steve Smith Sr. Only for 3 years, Johnathan Stewart, who was out of his prime after that Super Bowl run, and Greg Olsen. Panthers did have some pretty solid defenses, though, but no Hall Of Fame Linemen.
They had 8 All-Pro players the year they made the Super Bowl.

The reason i stopped watching these sports shows is because of what Cam said .I want to hear from the athletes that have been in the trenches, have put in hours of work in the film room ,weight room battle each other and teams at the highest level. Took Auburn to a national title with no other NFL talent on the team. Go look at the roster it was him and 4 years in the league Nick Farley ( who todd mcshay thought he a better pick for panthers at number 1 overall ). Dak wasnt the difference maker Cam was in college let alone the league.
