absolutely been loving this d21 series! my daughter of 8 years old wanted to by her first car and though shes too young to drive i told her id let her buy something under 2k and we would rebuild it over the next 10 years, she found a really nice 95 pathfinder for 2k and we have been fixing it up together for the last year. had some issues im not really schooled in like the tachometer doing exactly what you should us in a video, i just followed your steps and got it working again. next up we are tackling the weatherstripping and door channels, so big thank you for that video too! after that she wants to put a ruby red interior in, so we will be stripping the seats out for a nice junkyard find thats in near perfect condition and buying new carpets from rockauto to match, i was unaware that the carpets came out that easy so BIG THANKS! i have had a wonderful time following you on this pathfinder journey and my daughter loves your beard and thinks your a really cool! we do really appreciate the videos, would love to see more as we tackle the under carriage to replace cats and muffler system, eventually we will be doing the entire fuel line system and stripping the lower exhaust out too clean it up and replace parts. please keep these up, its been a really cool journey and these old cars deserve someone to love them as much as you have!
I just bought the same vehicle, just because I love how it looks, Great job on making yours look awesome. I suscribed to the channel and I have been binge watching all your videos.
The Pathfinders are out there. There are always a few of them on Facebook Marketplace. You can find some good deals out there if you're willing to drive a bit.
Hey man I daily a 86 D21 and have a 88 Pathfinder 2 door SE that I have been working on. I have a couple vids for proof. I subbed and think you got a great deal for 900 keep the vids coming.
I agree with what you mentioned about a paint job that will pass the test vs the $9000 job the real shops will want. Brian, you did well! Better than most people will ever achieve. As to that black, as a experiment next time, see if satin black works better. All in all, this Nissan has turned out great!
I started with an Exhaust leak…I’m currently trying to put the balls back in the CV shaft. Your video about the timing belt was a life saver. Needed to do new stabilizer bar bushing’s…oh, no shims ? okay. CV boot was hella torn. I got a new one. Not a split one, so out with the CV shaft. Any advice on getting the balls back in the shaft…lol Thanks dude. 90’ Pathfinder SE 3.0L 5spd 4x4 2dr
Great vid! I am actually from the Philippines and i have a pathfinder actually called Terrano here, with a Z24 petrol engine. It's difficult to find those window felts here. Where did you get it from? Maybe i could buy and have it shipped here or ask my brother in Cali to het it for me. Thanks gor the vid, and the cluster panel fix was helpful! I hope you keep doing vids for the pathfinder.
You can use the same bumper from a hardbody or d21 (same thing) i'm sure you know but the bumper on rock auto is only about $50 bucks lol I hope you see this and hope it helps!!

Thanks so much! I love it when the younger generations get involved in stuff like this. Memories for life!!
Pathfinders are the hidden gem of the sportute/off road world. Mine has over 300,000 miles and is still going strong. Thanks for the vids!
Love them!
Never would have thought that paint in a can would look that good. Absolutely impressed with the paint. Love that gray/silver on the wheels.
Definitely came out WAY better than I was expecting, of course I wasn't expecting a lot, lol!

Thanks for the Sub! Just drove mine about 200 miles today. Love it!
That Pathfinder looks ready for the road. Great work.
Thanks. I think the time to sell it is not too far off. Lots of other projects going on.
Man, that came out so good!! I love seeing new life breathed into old paint
Yeah, me too. Glad to be about done with this thing. I'm gonna get involved in a V10 Dodge series pretty soon.
@@ProjectTimeGarage my ears just perked up!
I wish to trade my 93 Nissan D21 truck for a 90-95 Pathfinder. (still dreamin' here)
Keep an eye out in the area I recently scored a 90 Pathfinder for 3300

I think you're right. Satin would me MUCH closer. By golly, you've talked me into it!!
@@ProjectTimeGarage A bodyshop suggested that to me when I was doing some project years ago. It is nice that it does not get shiny when touched later.
Thank you so much, inspiring
You are so welcome!

No real advice, except I've been where you are. It's not a lot of fun, but doable.

Thanks for watching! I found the felts on Ebay. Search for Nissan Hardbody D21 Window Felt.

I actually didn't know RockAuto had them. That's DEFINATELY gonna happen. Thanks!
How do you like your paint mask? I've got a beard to deal with as well.
Not bad, but the beard does cause some issues.
