OMG! Am crying again. Really so thankful to Chris and Coldplay who are such selfless and beautiful people, inside and out. They really made Jin shine and be the highlight in their own concert. I'm a 53 yr old ARMYMOM. I found BTS around 2016 and I have never felt toward a celebrity like I do toward BTS. They dont feel like a celebrity, they feel like my adopted kids.. I will lash out when someone hurts their feelings or criticizes them and would pretty much do what it takes to help them get to their dreams. Three years ago at age 64, I found BTS and became Army! Their songs, dedicated to Army, transcend all relationships! That's the simple premise behind all their songs, teen and young adult angst, finding love, trying to hold onto love, etc. and they relate these themes directly to Army telling them that one must always love themselves first!!!! Since you like Jin's voice, my BTS bias, check out as many of his BTS solo songs - Moon, Abyss, Awake, and Ephifany! Also, his BTS vocal line songs are beautiful, so I recommend The Truth Untold. As for a fetature in other BTS solo songs, check out Suga's, as Agust D, song So Far Away, featuring Jin and JK!!!! Jin has the most stable voice, next to V who is also heyond beautiful.

Right, it's not just that it's his last song (for a while) but the lyrics and the love he put into the last "i love you" like his life depends on it and so is mine. My man, I'm tearing up right from the moment I've listened to this song and saw this live performance around 7 am in the morning, its just uncontrollable, the surge of emotions I've felt and feeling since that moment, it's just so precious and the best feeling in the world. Just like the asteroids drifting away from the destination, i see my spring day (BTS) drifting away from me. But I'm happy for them and everything that's happening lately. I completely appreciate your comment at the end. I became a KPop stan way back in 2010 when I discovered SNSD and Shinee. When BTS debuted instantly I knew they were special, and even told my brother that they’re gonna be the first Korean global sensation, just from their musical delivery and personality. I’m not gonna elaborate because this hits different from someone who was there from the start fighting. And I’m so glad y’all recognize the impact and appreciation this video holds
This was the most endearing performance. 1. Jin has been in the shadows a bit and it was great to see him get his shine on. 2. He did a wonderful job trying to keep it light and joyful. I don't think he wanted it to be heavy. 3. Chris / Coldplay have been supportive and really have a sincere concern for them as people. I've been an ARMY since 2014. This group has been so accessible to their fans and you really do bring them in to your every day. There’s another interpretation that this song is not only a reassurance of Jin’s love for ARMY, but also his members. The little girl could also be BTS themselves. Gosh there are no words to describe the sadness we feel. And to think that they won't be around for two years.. In 2020, I found BTS while lying in bed very sick & they helped me through those rough months. I cry everytime I listen to their songs & it touches my ❤️.You are ARMY as long as you feel the love that BTS gives to you & you return that love. I've known BTS since I was 13 and I'm like 21 now. that's my whole youth right there! they are a role model to me. Listening to their song from being a clueless soul to being exposed to the harsh world of reality, I'm always grateful to them for being there for me through my darkest of times and even the happiest. This song feels like the "we need to be apart for a while in order to grow in our own ways." typa way. as a person who's grown dependent on them, I needed that separation for a while. and whatever happens, I'll always be here inside the magic shop waiting for them.

I've been ARMY for 1 year and 6 months now and I was so touched by this song and watching the live performance makes me cry every time. I hate that I discovered them so late. Someone once said: "You find BTS when you need them the most" and Yoongi also said it doesn't matter when you joined the fandom, what matters is you're here now. I can't even imagine how ARMYs who've been there from the beginning must feel. These boys have the power to make you feel like you're part of a family (ARMY has this power too). Even though I've only been ARMY for 19 months, it feels like I've been here for years. I might not have been here from the beginning but I'll stay until the end.

Well, I haven't cried through the many views of The Astronaut, but this one got me. I don't know if it was because it was a live show, and Jin's emotions were on full display, or the realization that this song will be his last for some time to come. I am so proud of Jin - he has come so far from being the shy, wanting to be in the background guy to performing such a wonderful song in front of so many people and doing it (almost!) perfectly.

Me being a new ARMY I am so amazed by the feeling of family. I have cried every time I hear this song. I can’t imagine being with them from the beginning and having to hear this. This is so special. 💜
I love the way Chris kept gesturing him to take the stage, and smiling at him so proudly. The hug and the little kiss. There's such affection between them, and Chris is a good hyung.
But what I love most is the mistake and the laugh, I think. It's so organic, so real, just a lovely moment.

Jin often said that he does not have that much friends in the industry. Perhaps because being the eldest, he is in a different wavelength. But his bond with Chris is different because he found a “hyung” in Chris. This time Jin is not the big brother.
Right, it's not just that it's his last song (for a while) but the lyrics and the love he put into the last "i love you" like his life depends on it and so is mine.
My man, I'm tearing up right from the moment I've listened to this song and saw this live performance around 7 am in the morning, its just uncontrollable, the surge of emotions I've felt and feeling since that moment, it's just so precious and the best feeling in the world.
Just like the asteroids drifting away from the destination, i see my spring day (BTS) drifting away from me. But I'm happy for them and everything that's happening lately.
I continuously wandered about what I'd be able to give him as he's leaving. I realised, i can't be physically there for them. But i can do one thing for sure, when they return, giving them assurance that i was always waiting for them and becoming a better person, someone they'd be proud to call their ARMY, a person worthy of that label.

I completely appreciate your comment at the end. I became a KPop stan way back in 2010 when I discovered SNSD and Shinee. When BTS debuted instantly I knew they were special, and even told my brother that they’re gonna be the first Korean global sensation, just from their musical delivery and personality. I’m not gonna elaborate because this hits different from someone who was there from the start fighting. And I’m so glad y’all recognize the impact and appreciation this video holds
This was the most endearing performance. 1. Jin has been in the shadows a bit and it was great to see him get his shine on.
2. He did a wonderful job trying to keep it light and joyful. I don't think he wanted it to be heavy.
3. Chris / Coldplay have been supportive and really have a sincere concern for them as people.
I've been an ARMY since 2014. This group has been so accessible to their fans and you really do bring them in to your every day. As such, seeing Jin go into service is like a dear friend you are going to miss and the future is uncertain. You can't help but feel anxious for him and what the future holds for BTS as they start their rotation through serving in the Army. Love them all. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
There’s another interpretation that this song is not only a reassurance of Jin’s love for ARMY, but also his members. The little girl could also be BTS themselves. Jin is the oldest and he helped them grow through this decade that they’ve been together for so he’s also saying all of these lyrics to his members. The telationship between coldplay and bts felt genuine, true, not forced. They have a special bond. They have the same point of view maybe that's the reason why they give and receive love and respect from each other. And yes, thw affair between army and bts is just never ending. Just wanted to let you guys know. You guys ARE Army. Just because you haven't been there since the beginning, nor even from like say 4 years ago. That doesn't make you any less army. 7 years together in their journey, watching them growing up it's really meaningful to me, the same as I watched my own kids grew up. So happy to see 7 talented boys grew up to a successful young men, I'm so proud of them. I have been crying since the song was first released and as you said: it hits Ina different way when you hear it, when you watch the MV or the live performance... I mean... Gosh there are no words to describe the sadness we feel. And to think that they won't be around for two years.. It is a scary thought and it's hurts so much but we will be here in 2025 waiting for their return. It's a promise between #BTS and #Army. In 2020, I found BTS while lying in bed very sick & they helped me through those rough months. I cry everytime I listen to their songs & it touches my ❤️.You are ARMY as long as you feel the love that BTS gives to you & you return that love. I'm Thankful for ARMY'S who stood by them through the good & bad times. Sofi was my 1st concert & I'm looking forward to more in the future. Hey guys, thank You so much for reacting to this, to see grown men get emotional and be so touched by our Jin is a beautiful beautiful thing, and shows just how powerful the energy and sincerity of all our BTS is, how it draws people from all over the world, all ages, all genders, all backgrounds, all cultures, it’s just unbelievable and testifies to their talent as artists and as human beings. And it doesn’t matter whether you have been with them since the beginning, or found them a day, a month, a year, two years ago, it doesn’t matter you’re still an army. We are all at different stages and all wish we could have been there from the start, but I am just thankful I found them when I did and am part of this beautiful relationship between BTS & Army. I've known BTS since I was 13 and I'm like 21 now. that's my whole youth right there! they are a role model to me. Listening to their song from being a clueless soul to being exposed to the harsh world of reality, I'm always grateful to them for being there for me through my darkest of times and even the happiest. This song feels like the "we need to be apart for a while in order to grow in our own ways." typa way. as a person who's grown dependent on them, I needed that separation for a while. and whatever happens, I'll always be here inside the magic shop waiting for them.

I've been ARMY for 1 year and 6 months now and I was so touched by this song and watching the live performance makes me cry every time. I hate that I discovered them so late. Someone once said: "You find BTS when you need them the most" and Yoongi also said it doesn't matter when you joined the fandom, what matters is you're here now.
I can't even imagine how ARMYs who've been there from the beginning must feel. These boys have the power to make you feel like you're part of a family (ARMY has this power too). Even though I've only been ARMY for 19 months, it feels like I've been here for years. I might not have been here from the beginning but I'll stay until the end.

Well, I haven't cried through the many views of The Astronaut, but this one got me. I don't know if it was because it was a live show, and Jin's emotions were on full display, or the realization that this song will be his last for some time to come. I am so proud of Jin - he has come so far from being the shy, wanting to be in the background guy to performing such a wonderful song in front of so many people and doing it (almost!) perfectly.

The fact that you appreciate BTS and respect Armys' feelings makes you real Army too. I'm just about the same time Army as you guys bec I was introduced to them only in the 1st qtr of 2020 but I hold on that message of Suga when he said their debut to us is when we first meet them and no matter how short the time we've known them it's like having known them for a long time bec of the regular content they put out & ofc Aneesa's TROB which helped fast track our knowledge of their background. So even if we weren't there in the beginning with them we understand and we feel what other older Armys feel. Much respect for you guys 💜.
