In split i usually go for viper as she can easily cover the whole A site from ramp, to heaven, and backsite if you line the wall from inside sewer Defending is also quite straightforward, either orb B main or make a one way, and wall on A
Just an opinion, we don't need a graphic telling us the map name covering the mini map, when the purpose of the vid is to show overall map control, esp with viper util which partially uses the mini map to aim.
Honestly to create something spicy on Ascent Viper is a fun pick. I dont do lineups normally, but there are some superrrr easy orb lineups to smoke those same spots with her.
A lot of potential missed for one ways, especially on Haven. I understand that Omen is the placeholder for all orb smokers, but the tall boxes offer the same one way opportunity for Brim and Astra too
Covering the minimap with the current map name and icon made it way harder for me to see and remember what the smokes cover on the map as I am not that familiar with all the maps yet... Bad editing choice imo. 😅

This is a question that I kept debating myself with no reasoning for icebox A viper wall for defending in the video, I have a viper wall lineup for it that also blocks sight of belt and nest is it good?
@@proguidesvalorant sorry for the long reply forgot i commented about this. so lets say at 6:27 you can see the left side of 410 is slanted but lets say it is now straight which will ivrease the lenght of the wall on top 410
Man please avoid brim in lotus at all costs 😭😭 he has too little utility for a 3 site map and his limited range renders him unhelpful on defense unless they hit ur side. He’s arguably the worst controller option on that map
I used this video as reference for Harbor. There are some videos with lineups for the bubble to cover Cts and Heaven points. The problem is defense but what I normally do is put the wall and stall with the cascade until full teamates rotates.
here's a tip, next time please make sure the minim ap is visible, this guide is more useful for noobs like me who base their game around information from minimap, I'm bronze 2 btw.
i couldnt understand why the people i play with smoke our entrance to the site when we are attackers...it makes it difficult to push. looking at this video i believe i am correct? what should actually be smoked is the corners and doors from the defenders side? (pretty helpful guide, i play with viper but i just got omen and both smoke in sligtly different ways)
Now I just need a guide on what to do after the smokes go down. If defending and the enemy smokes me how do I play it? And if we are attacking and take site what do I do now?
0:12 -_- 12 seconds in and already wrong. the smoke should be lined up with the wall on the left. if you do it the way that they say in the video than people can jump out of the smoke and cover behind gen in less than a second.
I’d actually say fracture is one of his worst maps. Yes he can smoke pretty much every single choke when attacking but unless you stay on spawn you won’t be able to efficiently smoke for your team when being rushed on defense. That means that in order to get value from him to have adopt a more proactive approach which may lead to you dying more often thus losing your retake potential
@@TurtleChubby yeah you’re not gonna be seeing a lot of doble controller comps in ranked. Requires coordination and more often than not the two smokers will be wasting each others smokes on top of the others
@@TurtleChubby harbor can actually cover heaven with no issues. He’s as a matter of facts the best smoker of the game if you need multiple chokes covered. But having a game where you got wrecked proves nothing. If harbor + any controller was such a good comp then it’d actually be played outside of pro play. But it’s not consistent enough, nor people are willing to put in the team work required to make it work. And this comes with someone with several hours in him
