Then he blew another kiss to them. I LOVE your braids. I often braid my hair and I especially love to add in ribbons or flowers to mine.

Hallelujah!! You finally chose Screaming! I knew you'd like it. Especially the live Idol Hits version. Upbeat pop, rap(!), and rock, with jazz and eastern runs. He looks so happy, jumping around, singing with his enthusiastic Dears. He also performs Michael Jackson-esque pop songs where he dances! And there are other sides of Dimash you will discover. He's working on an album of traditional Kazakh music, like Samaltau, which he recently sang for the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Have you seen any of his duets? Most are opera, showing his gorgeous baritone, but the Queen medley with the Super Vocal group is good old rock n roll, and the Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance mashup is a mind-blowing combination! Dimash has quite a few pop/rock songs in his repertoire...he really can do it all!!! His live concerts are amazing because they are such a great mix of all that he can do and he loves interacting with his Dears. During this song he usually ventures out amongst them...fun for all!!! 💗🎵💗

Since you enjoy the pop side of Dimash so much, you might want to check out "Our Love" (not to be confused with "Your Love") from his appearance on the show "The Masked Singer". It's a chinese show where the judges need to guess who the masked performer is. They are not just masks, but they are actually full costumes. Dimash went there with an eagle costume, which he later said he chose because the eagle is the animal that represents Kazakhstan.
Anyways, the performance was mighty impressive, the song is 100% pop, but it was brilliantly arranged. Dimash was of course a legend, as always, and it was pretty obvious it was him under the mask. The only caveat is that the video is heavily copyrighted, so I'm not sure if you'll be able to find the actual footage for your reaction. There are many videos of the song that only show snapshots of the performance. In any case, it's super interesting vocally, so check it out if you want.

The audiences that aren't standing up are at the Kremlin in Russia, where Dimash and Igor even commented that there is a bit of a heavy atmosphere in that environment. There, his performances are more operatic, sooo dramatic and full of technical acrobatics! I love all his different faces and spaces where he performs!
like you've said it Dimash can sing any genre he wants and it will be perfect, it is such a model of persistence, hard word, and commitment. He is a very humble and simple boy, but at the same time he is a perfectionist and if at this moment he leaves us stunned with his talent, imagine after time the level that he will reach. You should come to his concert because this is what you will see. People think his concerts will be boring but they are so wrong.
You'll see the fun energetic Dimash who interacts with the audience a lot. You'll get so much high from his concerts.

If you compare this live version with the official MV, you will find that it is quite different, he tells a very different song there. Plus he doing all the backing vocals himself, layers and layers of Dimash happily warbling away, it is so amazing.

This song I think is meant to be a sing along song for his concerts. You have probably mostly seen him in the more formal concerts but his solo concerts are something else entirely. Dimash thrives on interaction with the audience. Mostly in the beginning it was in China with Chinese songs that they would sing back to him. But then as he moved into Russia there were Russian songs that were famous and he would sing them with his audience participating. When he was planning his concert in New York I think he wanted a song that would be good for all languages but specifically English speakers. Funny thing is though, when he got to New York people were singing Russian, English, Chinese, and Kazakh to him. I think it blew him away! If you are curious about his more pop-ish side he has quite a few songs. However, maybe you could start with the song he composed when he was 16. He's 18 here singing it. Yup, the chinese tv production 'evened' out the volume on the recording as there are certain rules for tv shows in china about audio levels... or so I heard. I think there is a version where this is not done, but I don't know which one it is. This song is often towards the end at his concerts and is super fun. The whole audience sings along and he runs around and even down among the audience (when possible). It is also one of the few I can sing along with... yay!

I recommend the video in AGT 2020 of a young girl from Kazakhstan, Tears of gold, Daneliya Tuleshova. She was competing with Dimash in World´s Best in 2019. She is only 13 years old with a very mature voice for her age. There is another video of her when she was 10 years old in The Voice Kids Ukraine singing "Stone cold", the level she shows at her young age is impressive.
Watch his concerts and you will see his conexion with the audience... especially at the end!

11:26 i think from my observation regarding the audience, kinda speaks for itself in how the audience r arranged.
Standing audience: definitely a more chill atmosphere, dimash can actually go down to the audience midsong to say hi.
Sitting audience: a more serious tone, very formal. There will be piano, violins, choir, the whole 9 yards front n centre together with dimash. N dimash’s demeanor is also more.. i wont say reserved.. but more serious.
Granted, yeah ur right. Even if it was seated audience, i wud be giving a standing ovation. Probably they were too shocked n confused at wat they just witnessed 😂😂😂

I have been at two concerts, ones in the first row, with a "mile" distance between, and with a clear order to be sited. Huge disappointment. I would love to stand close to the stage.

I appreciate the info you impart in your reactions, Nina, and glad to see you enjoying Dimash and his performances as much as I and other of his fans do. Dimash is a very creative person in general and in other videos and interviews he's indicated that while he politely listens to the imput of others and sometimes takes their advice, he is no 'robot' being driven by industry image makers, promoters, ticket sellers, etc....that for the most part., most of what you see is what Dimash decides and the way he wants to present his music to his fans and his audiences...and it's working VERY well. He loves his grandparents and parents and respects very much their opinions so I wouldn't doubt that if they have something to say, he listens.
He KNOWS they want what's personally best for him as a person and that their love for him is a different kind of love than that of fans who respect his morality and love Dimash, the public person...the fabulous singer and entertainer

I'm so glad you're back to reacting to Dimash! I totally understand taking a break so that you can fully appreciate a singer again, I do the same thing! One song I'd recommend is his newest song, called "A Thousand Miles" , it has english subtitles too! ua-cam.com/video/zU29tAzs4Yc/v-deo.html . They ask him some question before and after the performance, but you could just react to the performance if the video is too long, however there are english subtitles for the whole thing. I think you'll enjoy it!
I recommend that you react to the song give me your love, in his interpretation of his concert in New York. It is a pop song. I also recommend that you listen to the last song he released: "Thousand of miles, a common dream", is beautiful.
