- After one month and one week, I can finally say that part 3 of the Grand Theft Railfanning series is out and fully complete. I love the new passenger consists.

For those of you wondering, the last train is a 3x2x1 monster grain train made with 2 separate videos. It has 6 locomotives and 211 cars (3 engines, 112 cars, 2 dpu engines, 99 more cars, 1 dpu engine)

Except for train 3. Well, there are some AC4400CWs with a K5HL, but the standard is usually a K5LA.

Weirdly found this video while currently riding the Amtrak Auto LOR to San at currently 3:30am. Can confirm the audio is VERY WELL DONE!
It looks good. If you want to do a prototypical Amtrak train from front to back it would be engine,engine,baggage,transition sleeper, sleeper, sleeper, diner, dome car, coach baggage, coach, coach. And sometimes they have UP or California zeypher private cars on the back.

Auto train only runs the east coast but I like it
I always thought it was weird that they included a railroad in the modern incarnation of Los Santos. The island really isn't that big - do they NEED a railroad? Probably not.
Don't get me wrong, I love trains, and would absolutely complain if trains weren't in GTA. But the old version of San Andreas had three separate cities, so a railroad makes sense. I mean really, how much chicken are they shipping from the cluckin' bell factory in Paleto Bay? Probably not enough to justify that amount of rail traffic lol
I wish gta 5 added vegas or San Francisco at least. I was kind of disappointed when it was released to find out there was no where else to go.

Someone needs to make a mod to get engines for GOLOCO Railroad(the only railroad in the game mind you) And make engines for the railroad. WOuld be cool imo

Being a train enthusiast I approve of this, do you think you could something similar for Red Dead but with Steam Trains?
Unfortunately the wheels on a stream train don’t spin in this mod. The creator of the mod did get a programmer to script moving wheels but that won’t come until way later

Unfortunately they are real sounds from UA-cam videos and my own videos and not a mod ;-;
I’ll probably make a vid showing the videos I got the sounds from, but some of the vids/sounds were from Spencer Hughes 2255, and I’m afraid he might appeal to take down the vid for copyright claim

This is what Grand Theft Auto V need to have trains to sound like, you almost every American train company that was in the video it was a good one I really did enjoy the audio.
Appreciate it. I made this series after seeing this realistic train mod and decided to add real sounds to the trains to make everything realistic

Sorry, but the only British train in the mod is the a4 mallard, and steam train wheels don’t spin in the mod yet so I can add the mallard to the series if you wanna see it run with the brakes on lol

Sorry, but unfortunately you cannot. The mod is an Open IV package and Open IV doesnt work on an Xbox One

On part 4 I used Rockstar editor so it runs at 60 fps now

I wish gta was more sand box. On console with mods too. Where you could place roads and tracks and more trains and cars and buildings. And drive the trains and lower speed. AND APPLY RAG DOLL Derailments OR SOMETHING

Rockstar should add some different trains. Just look at 3-5 different real models, F-40’s, F-59’s, EMD GP40’s, hell any modern Rail train. Just have some variety, even San Andreas had the Brown Streak and Freight with two different models
