I'm an older white woman that has been fascinated with Black hair. My wonderful kindergarten teacher (1971) had a gorgeous afro. Mrs. King even allowed me to touch the puffiness! Lol She thought it was funny a little white girl loved her dark skin (she looked good wearing any color, unlike me) and hair. I've never understood why natural hair, braids, or locks get such dislike / hate. To me, it's just a hair style.

@@Laylas_Braceletzz No, you misread what she wrote…….I would be more concerned with how it sounds like she is fetishizing Afrocentric features…….which is highly problematic…….If not, if she is just a WW admiring from afar then I have no qualms about it…… But the problem is most WW that talk like this can not just leave it at admiring, they cosplay and appropriate…… these are the WW walking around in box braids, faux locs, and other Afrocentric cultural hairstyles, oh and most recently the Asians walking around with permed Afros SMH……. The admiration can be a slippery slope
