That's what all AIO tanks are like with the return outlets. If you don't like it I suggest going with a hard plumb tank and a sump. Waterbox and redsea makes some nice plug and play reef tanks
Thank you for checking out the video Steven. 🙏🏼 I appreciate your comment. I wanted to make sure I shared all my observations in the video. In hindsight it’s not an issue but I hadn’t thought through it. Thanks again. 🙏🏼😀
wouldnt it be better if there was a hole in lower portion of tank in chamber one so if the water level runs low the pump wont run dry? Also another intake cant hurt as well.
I don't understand how this is different than any other thank say with bulkhead on the return. Every tank will siphon water back in to the sump area when you turn off the return pump. There is even less because it on the back not below. I have this tank and if my water gets low for some crazy my ato fails or something the water goes well below the return hole and there is no leaking back through the hole. I am confused was it the siphon that you didn't like?
Sorry for the late response Erik. You are right, I was hesitating because it was something I noticed as I was filling the tank with water. But its not a con, its just part of the design as you mention. When I review anything, I like to provide a balanced review if possible. That was my attempt at doing so. After running this tank for 2 months, I have 0 complaints about it. I can't find any negatives. 😀 Thanks again for checking both the videos out. I appreciate it. 🙏
Thanks for checking out the video Sand. 👍🏼 I used an ikea side table. I forget the exact measurements, but they were abit smaller than the tank. So I used a piece of plywood that fit the dimensions of the tank’s base as a base for the tank.
They are nice tanks. I have a 20 gallon. The back chamber is still a poor design imo. Access to pump is very difficult. I like the fluval or waterbox all in ones better.
Thank you Richard. 🙏 That is fair. This is my first all-in-one, so I dont have anything to compare it to. Actually that is false, the tiny 13g was an aio. This one is better than that one was.
I got one of these a month ago. This thing is sweet. I really like the dimension
Right on. 👍 are you having any algae issues? Would love to hear how you keep algae down.

Sweet tank
Gah sorry and thank you Annie! 🙏😀
For some reason I missed a bunch of comments from this video.
Caught that deadmau5 intro lol 😂 love it
Thanks Pat! 😎

What could you use in that slot instead of the filter sock
What heater are you using? I just got one but am having a hard time finding a heater that will fit in the rear chamber
Nice box!
new sub.
my build needs help :-) can't get past the aquascaping...
Thanks Spicy. 🙏
I'd just try to keep the rockscape airy with plenty of water space. Seems to be the trend these days.

what stand you using? ikea? strong enough to hold full weight ?

Just get algae scrubber for an all in one ☝🏽 Santa Monica algae scrubber
Thank you Jones. Does the Santa Monica produce one that can fit? Cause that is a great idea.
