After building out the camera on prep day, do you disassemble it for transport and reassemble it on shoot day? If so, that seems like a lot of wasted and duplicated effort (plus increased risk of breaking or screwing up something in the process). If not, how do you safely transport the built-out camera?

Depends on the build. This one we broke it down since it was simple, others I’ve transported in like a shape bag
