Why do people have to be so deep? This is the way that she shows her commitment and love for God. If it doesn't reach you, don't listen. It's not for you. It's as easy as that. If God wanted us to all have the same expressions of our gifts he would have given them to us.
You know, it kills me how we have so many critics who are UNDERQUALIFIED in the areas in which they critique... If you are a NON-SINGER with a neagtive report, SHUT YOUR DAMNED MOUTH. As christians, 1 of our responsibilities is to uplift, not tear down... If you listen to her testimony in the clip, you'd realize that Nikki Ross needs your prayers & encouragement. Quit bein ASSES & try being a blessing to one who will minister even out of her hurt.

It's apparent that you are not vocally inclined, and if you are able to half way hold a piece of a note, I would dare to believe that you aren't able to do the riffs and the runs. As one who knows Nikki Ross EXTREMELY WELL (I'm not a fan or a groupie - but I know her FOR REAL, FOR REAL) I will attest to the fact that her vocal presentation is not only tasteful AND timely, but it is the sound of her relationship with the Father.

For those of us who are GIFTED to sing (like Nikki Ross) the riffs & runs that we do are not for show.
Search online. It's really hard to find a personal contact number for these people, but not a business contact. You can find one for Nikki Ross as well as for Kirk Franklin. Or look through the comments and ask the youtubber called Godsfavor7 and ask him. He might know.

I disagree that I was "way out of line" because I know Nikki personally and I know she has a good heart; however, I do agree that my choice of language could have been better considering the fact that I am a Christian. Perhaps there was a less harsh way to say what I said but I stand behind the message conveyed.
I love Nikki....but id have to agree with those that think a bit much much is the title for this one. If i were the organist i would've just stopped playin. For things like this that are unrehearsed, its best to keep it simple...something nikki almost never does!
Its almost to the point to where if a singer male or female cant run/riff its often said cant sing. I personally dont think thats the case bcs again she has a beautiful voice and she did in fact show her spirit in this video, just wish she didnt run/riff so much in most of her songs. You almost lose sight and spirit of what the song is really saying for cheering on her low registers, riffs, runs, and high notes

THAT WAS STR8 UP KAREN LOLOL....We are all influenced by singers that were before our times, and its not a bad thing, why not patton after great anointed singers, doesn't that really prove their effectiveness in ministry???? It would encourage persons like Karen, Kim, Rance, Vanessa, John P. Kee, Shirley, Bettye, Daryl and others that there ministry was not in vain.
musicians forget that they accompany singers and are to follow their direction...didnt Nikki tell the musician to stop playin with her hand?? I cannot stand over bearing musicians when a soloist is singing, they just play all ova ya ...Nikki still did her thing tho
