I'm running the Firestone bags on my 06 mega cab. Absolutely love them! The dodges actually have 2 small holes stamped into the back of the bed directly above the license plate that works perfectly for the air line fittings to bolt to. But using the license plate holes is pretty slick.
I will be sending you a Virginia plate soon! Also, I was at Cabelas in Hamburg Pa today and someone had the “Blowin money” decal on their cummins. I pointed it out to my wife and she said “ that’s durtymax jacks decal isn’t it?” Even the wife loves your vids! Keep up the great work bro!
I installed the air ride 5000 bags on my 2015 Denali 3500HD with the wireless air onboard compressor, no issues except for running power and adding a relay. I really enjoy being able to control each side to level the bed when on uneven surface with the remote. I run my bags at 5psi when not towing and if needed I can pull the fuse and deflate to 0 psi as it has a internal joust bumper inside the airbag. From what I have heard the firestone bags are hard to beat on their quality of materials. Some guys run the Air ride compressors and firestone bags. Love your surf voice when removing the right bag cracks me up!!!
I currently run AirLift setup on all of my trucks (7) in total. And I would recommend using a TEE air fitting, it will self balance both bags and eliminate having 2 fill points.
Btw jack just so you know I have had a few problems with my firestone tow bag system my compressor has stopped working 2 or 3 times and it’s a pain in the ass just to let you know it’s on my 2015 f250 platinum I normally keep about 10 lbs. in the bags at all times
I did airlift bags with built in bumpstops in my 2012 Cummins. The bags make a huge difference when towing. Worthwhile investment for your truck if anyone is looking into them. Most come with a lifetime warranty as well
I'm honestly more of a fan of the weight distribution hitches.. the air bag just levels the truck, which ends up putting more weight on the rear axle still. The weight distribution hitches actually level the load better over the chassis of the truck. JMO
Jack I have the same bags on my 2017 L5P...they work great. I don't mind manually filling them...compressor would be nice with in-cab control, but quite honestly being in the rustbelt of northern PA = corrosion = headaches.
I have a 2015 duramax as well and I added airbags to mine and I absolutely love them, the only difference though is I Tee’d my airlines together so I knew they would both have the same about of air and I could air both up at the same time, love the truck man!
I have had nothing but good customer service and quality of parts with air lift. I had some dry rot causing my bags to leak and air lift sent me new bags at no charge. Airlifts lifetime warranty is amazing.
Awesome video. I haul precast during the summer and need a truck with this setup during the winter to tow campers and cars. Keep up the hard work and posting great videos.
I dont really know if it makes a difference but personally I'd run the bags with very little air in them unloaded so it doesnt mess with the ride quality while unloaded
@durtymaxjack just an FYI. i installed the same kit but for my 2014 half ton. Ditch the Chinese carriage bolts and U Bolt and go to the hardware store and get american. same with the nuts. i snapped one of mine be for i even got to the recommended torque on the nuts.( or maybe my luck just got that 1 in a million bad set) Also i dont think i saw this or not but it looks like you were missing the heat shield on your passenger air bag. you exhaust is right next to it. you dont want to melt your bag. Anyway i love mine for towing my trailer couldn't be happier.
I can’t find the video, but I saw a video where you put LTZ taillights in your truck, but they were hyper flashing because they were LED. How did you fix that?
Thats why Jack doesnt work on stuff much he gets to frustrated lol 😆 i think its funny I get the same way when I work on stuff. Cant wait for more great content watching from minnesota i come to Pennsylvania often but dont know of i could come see u in person i think it would be awesome to meet u in person. Keep up the great work Jack thanks
If you were to get a "t" for the airlines it would make inflating them much easier, because it would then inflate them to the exact same psi. That's how I did it on my suburban when I put air bags on it.
Should have put the song booty work at 10:00😂 I had the same issue withy air lift set up on my 2500. I ended up popping a bag but they sent me a bother one for free
Helper springs... and air bags.... there’s a reason they don’t come on stock trucks. They aren’t necessary whatsoever unless you’re towing above 90% of the vehicles rated max tow load. And you absolutely don’t need them in a dually. So most truck owners should NOT waste their money on these things unless they are overloading a vehicle constantly and at that point you need a bigger truck.
Good idea... makes the truck a little more functional... should do a review on the bag once you start towing, thinking about doing something like that on my l5p
You need to tie the bags together I run air bags and having them separate can screw you tie them together so if something happens they both lose air so you don’t tip the load if you lose a bag love the videos and just saying from experience
A 2500 can pull a full-size truck very easily with a goose neck safety my coil spring cummins barley squats at all with a 25foot goose neck with a tractor or a truck on it
this does nothing to distribute the weight evenly to all tires, it only levels the truck. If you are squatting you need a weight distribution hitch as well.
i hate to be a hater but you really should get a viair set up and hook up the bags to a incab gauge that can inflate and deflate the bags you would like it way way way better in my option good luck
I have the same airbag kit on my 1500 to tow my 33ft camper. Definitely a huge improvement with towing and leveling the load out.

Next mod on the lml is definitely a gooseneck b&w hide a hitch

I have air lift on all four corners on my 2011 sierra 1500. Works like a dream when towing. Makes all the difference
What's that cost?
Lol I was in the middle of installing the airlift 7500 xl on my duramax when you posted this. I used your license plate idea works great
I did airlift bags with built in bumpstops in my 2012 Cummins. The bags make a huge difference when towing. Worthwhile investment for your truck if anyone is looking into them. Most come with a lifetime warranty as well
Looking at the tailgate and thinking a ghost white Enthuzst decal across the tailgate would look awesome
I'm honestly more of a fan of the weight distribution hitches.. the air bag just levels the truck, which ends up putting more weight on the rear axle still. The weight distribution hitches actually level the load better over the chassis of the truck. JMO
I have firestone bags on my 2011 Silverado, they work well. No issues yet. My air lines are also setup through the license plate
Jack I have the same bags on my 2017 L5P...they work great. I don't mind manually filling them...compressor would be nice with in-cab control, but quite honestly being in the rustbelt of northern PA = corrosion = headaches.
get a leveling valve and let that do all the work of adding or releasing the air just like they do on semi trucks
I have a 2015 duramax as well and I added airbags to mine and I absolutely love them, the only difference though is I Tee’d my airlines together so I knew they would both have the same about of air and I could air both up at the same time, love the truck man!
I’d add a one way valve to the individual hoses to each bag as when weight shift such as in a turn pressure could go from one bag to another
I have had nothing but good customer service and quality of parts with air lift. I had some dry rot causing my bags to leak and air lift sent me new bags at no charge. Airlifts lifetime warranty is amazing.

I went with the Hellwig Big Wig bags. They have been great and require less air. 40 psi and I tow my 5er perfect
Should have checked out guitarmagedon zl1 bag set up for his 1500
Love seeing these videos and seeing all the options out there towards my build
I like the slick install for the airline access
I got a question u think it will works on a chevy 6"" inches lifted
Are these lifted bags since your truck is lifted or do you need blocks for the bags? Basically are the bags already specd because of your lift?
Jack you are truly awesome my dude.
Where did you get those taillights from?
Happy to hear that you got the plates! The install of the bags looks pretty good! Keep up the great work!
@durtymaxjack just an FYI. i installed the same kit but for my 2014 half ton. I love the tail lights on the 1500, would they fit on the the same year diesel?
sean king it is a diesel
I know its diesel I have a 19. But those tail lights look like 1500 style that I want
Great I just Bought those having second thoughts of installing on myself on my Chevy Silverado 1500
Sounded like ww3 when was taking that bracket back off
you should wrap the top of the mirror black on the 2015
I'd be careful when checking the pressure on those bags with a tire pressure gage, once I blew one up by inflating the tires on my old go kart.
I can’t find the video, but I saw a video where you put LTZ taillights in your truck, but they were hyper flashing because they were LED. How did you fix that?
Jack I really like your 1500 tail lights are they a direct plug and play on the 2500's?
Next mod is either lower the truck so the goose neck doesn't destroy the bed, or lift the trailer for the same reason.
Need to get the level rod so it automatically puts air in the bags when put a load on the truck.
Hell yeah That's cool
Airlift it's so bad rough ride i tried them for one year in my 2018 sierra 2500HD
Sweet man worked out great
Jack- how long do you think it took you to get everything installed?
my dad has the same bags and his came with cab controller and manual control cab control is more convenient
Eddie’s life air bag set up is the way to go
That set up is awesome!!
Forgot also about the camera to put in the back of the box for easy hook up of the gooseneck just and idea
Durtymax Jack do you know that you have a small dent above the left rear wheel
Well is it the right or the left wheel
@@cjheer6686 i meant left rear

I love the old Minnesota plate! Keep up the great content!
Yeah I had the same thing and never had a problem and I had him for seven years both of my trucks
Just bought some merchandise hoping it leads to the dully. It’s my birthday and that would be the greatest gift I’ve ever received.
Where did you buy your high country tail lights?
Anthony Duarte Firestone airbags yes. tires never, ever.
You should probably get a spacer since your truck is lifted. You can possibly rip the bag. Can’t wait for more vids.
You get a white spike cap for the license plate cap
Good idea... makes the truck a little more functional... should do a review on the bag once you start towing, thinking about doing something like that on my l5p
I want Ron bergandully
WHO DOSEN'T
Funny seeing my plate on wall. DSTURBD lol
How many miles are on the daddy max?
I understand its a huge logistic issue with vehicle into Canada but man I sure wish I could get in on that small chance to win.
By far one of the funnier videos, lol
Gen-y hitch next?
Hey Jack if you’d like , I could try and get a new style New York plate
How much more lift does a give you a rear ?
Aaron Podgorski it doesn’t. It holds it at the level it’s set to stay. It’s not a lift device at all. It’s a leveling device.
I was joking lol..
You need to tie the bags together I run air bags and having them separate can screw you tie them together so if something happens they both lose air so you don’t tip the load if you lose a bag love the videos and just saying from experience
Should’ve jacked it up and remove the wheel. Taking the load off the suspension might’ve made the install on that side easier ???
Are you gonna jut a 5th wheel hitch on the lml
Where do I mail a plate?
My air fittings are in my gas cap
I've seen people plumb the air to behind the gas cap for there airbags before
Yea another Vermont boi hell yea
Dodge is my favorite color combo. Blue and crome
"Wicked hard right now" -me when I see the Ron burgandually

i wish you opened your giveaways up to you ALL of your viewers, us Canadians included. But i love your content non-the-less
Best air bag fill locations ever
At 10:37; holy crap look how big the tire is compared to Jack...
You the man.
Cant wait to see that wall full with license plates!

I love watching your videos man and you’re absolutely killing it 🙌🏼🙌🏼 but the camera quality 😬 just an opinion tho man. Keep it up 🤘🏼
Empty it is recommended to run the bags between 7-10 psi and above that it will make the ride horrible
This made my night 😥
another awesome video bro
Just do it Wright and put a gauge and control in the cab. As u can adjust your ride quality on the go. U can thank me later
Get a 95 Ford F-250 powerstroke next, just to throw everyone off
