You can put the same name on the Draw 2 and Draw 4 cards to force the opponents to draw double to amount of cards. OUCH. You can't put more than 3 marks on the plus card. If you draw a Giving Card with your name on it, discard one additional card from your hand then give it to ANY OPPONENT OF YOUR CHOICE. Opponents can block this card and prevent you from discarding.
there is no point in destroying the cards, you can't play the game anymore if you do that. instead, just put the card aside until you finish the entire game. when you finish the game you can start again and add those cards back in without having to buy a new deck of cards. for all of those saying "you have to destroy a card in a legacy game" you are right, but it's unnecessary here, since putting the cards back in the box does the same effect and avoids having to buy a new deck of cards if you want to play again.

Here's an idea: If that card doesn't have your name on it, give it to the respective opponent right away. If it's with your name on it, discard one additional card from your hand then give it to any opponent of your choice. Then the effect wears off.
OPTIONAL WAYS TO PLAY: 1. You can use a dry whiteboard pen so when the champion and jester get rid of a name, they can just erase it with a whiteboard eraser. 2. You can set the Add A Tally Mark, Add A Name To A Draw 2/Wild Draw 4 cards to a side so that you can not waste them.
i think it would be awesome to just play the game and then you find it maybe while cleaning up your house when you want to move maybe by just doing spring cleaning sitting down and reunboxing the game and you see the deck and the names of the people you played with maybe they are your grandparents, that have passed (NOT awesome) maybe your children who have grown out of the house maybe your cousins or siblings you barely see anymore because of your busy lifes and just having a wave of nostalgia hit you.

So unless you have dedicated people who can come over and finish the game over a long period of time, you should not buy it. If you have, then give it a try. I never tried risk, or even risk legacy, but considering I heard someone who dislike risk, actually like risk legacy, I guess it's a good game. Risk legacy is the first legacy game to be made, so I guess that effect of being first surprise people a lot.

I actually used adhesive plastic wrap on the remix cards, that way I can change the names every time without it being permanent.
I've never seen a game that requires you to destroy the card.
