Greek music is awesome. It's very diverse. This song itself might be original Armenian, but she sings many own and many Greek ones. Until now I did not know about Savina. But that's the thing. Every week I discover a new Greek amazing musician who makes just the most amazing music. And then I am not even talking about the hundreds famous Greeks already such as Maria Callas, Haris alexiou, Nana Mouskouri, George Dalaras, Giannis Parios, to other legends such as Vangelis, Vassilis Saleas, Manolis Chiotis, Stelios Kazantzidis. all of them play or are in different music styles
wow, εφχαριστο πολη, I love her! The first time i saw Savina&band was in Holland, my home town... had never heard of her, but it was a present of the girl-friend who also took me to Greece, because it "is my country". (yesterday was her birthday) Anyway... halfway the concert, when there was a coffee-pee-break for the people, SY said "i would like to improvise now", and many fled, because there were coming for a sirtaki. The people that stayed, looked at each-other and were treated to magic ;-)
