Recently, we received a lot of new info regarding Natlan, which includes details about the Pyro Archon, new characters and map details. So, in this video, let's take a look at it.
This information is from Seele. However, the release of the Pyro region is still quite far off, so the details provided may still change.
Apparently Pyro Archon has two forms, one of which will be playable.
The first form features a medium female model, similar to Furina. She wears a golden mask, and her dress is in red and white colors. If you saw the concept art that was shared several months ago, it was probably depicting her first form.
In this form, the Pyro Archon has a feather on her head in blue, purple, and white colors. This feather is from a bird called Robin, and interestingly, this bird is also a prototype for the Electro Sovereign.
From the Sovereigns, we already know Dvalin, Azhdaha, Apep, and Neuvillette. However, how the Electro Sovereign might be connected to the Pyro region is still unknown. It seems that Electro Sovereign will be a female, but unfortunately, she is not playable. It's still unknown if she will remain unplayable only in Natlan or in the game itself. Let's hope she won't have an NPC face like these two.
The second form has a tall female model, just like Arlecchino. She wears a red and black hat with red feathers. Her pupils burn with fire, and her red hair with golden highlights at the ends is tied in a low ponytail, with two strands framing her face in the same color.
From the current information, the second form will be playable, and she will have a "big sister" personality.
We should have two new 5-star characters in version 5.0, one new 5-star character in version 5.1, and another new 5-star character in version 5.2.
In version 5.0, one of the new 5-star characters will be a catalyst user, and the other will be a claymore user.
Probably one of the characters to be released in the early versions is Xbalanque. He is expected to be one of the strongest and most powerful characters in Natlan. There are several variations of his appearance, and we don't know which one will be in the final version.
Additionally, another character from Natlan is currently in development. She is a medium female model and uses a huge sword in combat. Her hair is braided into two pigtails.
Regarding the Natlan map, it has been said that the tribes of Natlan are not distributed horizontally but mainly vertically, downward. I think this statement has made a lot of people wonder what that even means. Well, according to UTeyvat, that was an early concept art for Natlan. It depicted it as a multi-layered region in a giant crater northwest of Sumeru. This design had at least six layers. However, developers rejected this idea since many players were complaining about the layer system in Sumeru.

There are only 2 known sovereigns at this moment Nevillette and Apep.

Dvalin is not a reincarnation. He maybe a dragon prince because dragon sovereins have too much power and most importantly heavenly laws doesn't work on them.
Azedha is also same, he was called lord o vishaps instead of geo(also said for dragon prince).
Dragon prince scylla can also command vishaps but she is not sovereign.@@mylenbasiano832
According to what we know, do we expect their to be a dragon sovereign or reincarnation of them for each element in the game or is Neuv and the other one we know about sort of an anomaly?

Pov: natlan Capital is an enormous super volcano inspired by Dante's Inferno, but every level corresponds to the noble status of the tribe and the archon resides in the deepest part with the administration and the noblest. It could be the coolest thing that they can do

hoyo really likes these two entities character character trait for archons, we have:
-Ei and Makoto as twin gods of Inazuma, u could also say Ei and Her Puppet
-Rukkhadevata reincarnating as Nahida
-Focalors separating her body to become Furina
Also zhongli’s identity faking his death as rex lapis aka his dragon form

This is getting pathetic to do that kind of an archon and story again. First we had Ei and the Raiden Shogun puppet, then Nahida and Ruka, then Furina and Focalors. Again?! How many times they want to be so creativeless? That story is so repetive. Hope Tsaritsa will be an archon of her OWN and not be splitted or seperated again. Tsaritsa, the Fatui Habringers and Dainsleif are the literally the only reason why the story didn't went downhill. The actual goal is the find our sibling and still nothing since Caribert..
@@NohrellasIt seems to be a reoccurring theme of “only one can remain”. Pyro and Cryo archons will probably have some sort of second bc they aren’t the og archons either. Same thing might happen with the traveler and abyss sibling.

@@stanfloptokwelp idk if we can rlly expect to see actual brown characters or anyone that isn’t just lightly tanned… but hey! We’ve never seen any npc from Natlan or ppl at all, so they really COULD fix this by actually introducing dark skinned characters in the game… it’s rlly up to them now to make it right :p
I’m not basing my picks solely on skin color, but I’m fairly certain there is going to be Spanish/conquistador type influence characters there so I wouldn’t be too excited thinking there’s no white characters or anything. I keep seeing comments like this and can’t help but think for people who only care about seeing dark skin they’re going to be disappointed.

@@cosmicbeesechurger5907 I didn’t say that. I just commented on exactly what they said, I didn’t accuse them of anything lol. Anyway ya I know what you mean. I personally don’t see an inclusion problem. Idk what percentage of characters everyone wants to see before it works. I feel like there wasn’t a ton in the 2.x era but there have been a lot since. Inclusion can be a funny thing honestly it’s so sensitive and touchy and you really don’t know how the company is approaching it. Is it based off the “scientific” viability of skin tones in the fictional world or teyvat? Is it based on creating a properly reflected representation of the playerbase or market to reflect back to the people playing? Idk hoyo would have to answer that. I tend to think it’s neither since the first option has no less than 1000 issues wrong with its viability, and the second would mean we would have even less skin color variations seeing as though a vast majority of the playerbase is actually Asian.
Out of the 7 Sovereign Dragons only 2 are Confirmed that are Apep (Dendro Sovereign) & Neuvi (Hydro Sovereign) so we still don't have info about other 5 Sovereigns. Davalin is Dragon but not Sovereign. Azhdaha is the oldest of the Geovishaps and holds command over the Ley Lines. Morax didn't create him. He was a blind Geo lifeform that dwelled underground but wished to see surface life, so Morax unearthed him and granted him the ability to see. As part of his subsequent contract with Morax
actully dvalin might be the same as neuvi.. becuz after we learned about fontaine info of sovreign... remember that scene after saving dvalin, venti gives him his powers... and this power can only be returned to the sovereign dragon. also nuevi told us that they can be sovereign without knowing it themselves.... so based on the new lore we have, dvalin is in fact the anemo sovereign and venti gave him his power back (at that time we didnt know it)
who knows morax himself can be the geo dragon. or he knows who it is and hence why he avoid neuvilette to the point of runnning away XD.. electro dragon died by ei as we know from lore/
@@yukichan177 Venti gave Davalin some of his power but Davalin till now is not confirmed to be Sovereign you know why cause Sovereign Dragon does not like Archons(Apep said that in Nahida SQ 2) & in the beginning we can see Venti talking to Davalin another thing Neuvi got his fully authority over Hydro because Focalors destroyed the Hydro Throne but Venti is alive & has control over Anemo. For Zhongli he is not Geo Dragon, the Dragon form your talking about is his Adepti form just Like Xiao, Madam Ping, Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper & Moon Carver has. Also Don't think a Geo Sovereign would work under Heavenly Principles who defeated them & stole some of their powers, Sovereign hates Heavenly Principles.

Archons always have some innate broke support functionality built into their kit. Be it as either the best universal battery, the best shield, the best cc, the best buffer etc. So given that pattern it’s comfortable to say she’s likely going to have some great support ability. Maybe some kinda buff or debuff system idk. But ya she could overshadow Bennett i would guess it’s quite likely. Unless they go the debuff route with her and she’s nothing like Bennett 🤷♂️
Yeh and xianling, so we can have them forever and ever!! Then we just need 4 more characters for the second wing of abyss and we're done. We skip the new abyss ofc.. too much damn work! One has gotta realize ones own limits. Of course, for the whales it's totally possible. Long live the whales! Banzaii!
It would be interesting to see how they handle this, a buffer would have to powercreep benny and a DPS would have to powercreep or be a sidegrade to Arle. They gotta sell those banners after all.
@@raykay47420 judging by patterns, archons usually aren’t designed to be the main dps from the region from their kit’s design. They’re made with some sort of support functionality entwined into their kit, whereas fatui are usually the on field dps focused character. That’s not to say you can’t use the archons as main dps but that their kit was designed with some key feature in mind to give them a great support value, whereas the fatui or sovereign or whatever have seemingly been more focused in just dmg . Of course any pattern can be broken at any time so who knows. I kinda think the pyro archon will be some sorta debuffer and buffer kit

I speculate this one having 2 archons in natlan. I feel like the successor(current archon) want to to ressurect her predecessor(murata) using a gnosis and she only share her secret to the traveler on how to do it. This is my own theory

I remember the time when I started playing Genshin and I thought Dvalin, Apep.. everyone would have a playable version. And I thought I would collect all the archons, sovereigns, harbingers.💀Ig no.
I mean it's not impossible in the future, we did eventually get Cloud Retainer as a playable character 3 1/2 years after her character was introduced in 1.0. Just like how Signora still has potential to become a playable character, I could see someone like Apep getting a human form later in the game when whatever major conflict that happens between Teyvat and the Abyss/Celestia/whatever else near the end of the game's story.

Divalen and Ashdaha are not dragon sovrens. Divalen is a elemental dragon just like yae miko and Ashdaha was created by Morax( when he saw live coming from a rock )

He only had one title before which hinted him to be a sovereign that was lord of geo vishaps.
But now we know dragon prince exist and they are also lord of vishaps.
So title of sovereign is lord of geo instead of vishaps only.
Azedha is dragon prince of geo also if azedha was a sovereign he wouldn't be affected by erroison because heavenly laws doesn't work on sovereigns.

dvalin is in fact a sovereign. go back to the scene after we fight him in the archon quest, venti gives him his power. archon power can only be given back to a sovereign

Defo hoping playable archon is the tall model. it just fits with the whole 'war' theme in my head rather than a medium model. what would be cool though is if they had both forms playable. you know like how ppl wondered if lyney and lynette were going to be a 2-in-1 character and you could switch between them, maybe that could happen with pyro archon.

Thank the lord, I was so scared that the little red brat was gonna be the pyro archon (playable at least lol). What scares me though is that the second one could be the previous whereas the short one is the current, or we might have a reverse furina/focalors where we aid the short pyro (human) archon into ascending and becoming her super pyro archon self which would be cool I guess

Yap, calling Azhdaha a dragon at all is a stretch by itself.
I think he was a kind of vishap, which are dragon-like and hail from the time when the sovereigns ruled, but since other vishaps are never really referenced as dragons, I'd also not do that for Azhdaha

don't know about dvalin but azedha is probably dragon prince of geo because he has title of lord of geo vishap(also said for dragon prince, they have authority over vishaps but they don't have geo authority itself)

I really hope they don’t fuck up with nathal. It will definitely have way more backlash than sumeru if that happens because the places it’s based off all have huge dark skinned/tan population. None of the characters should be paper white, that would be straight up impossible.
