great footage. I rode through here on the way to Mildura 2 weeks ago - made for a very long day (1,700km over 30 hours) once I got home on the Saturday. Great riding area and certainly a blast on the bigger bike (Pan America).
@@OzADVRider Hi Ian, thanks for the prompt response. Do I like the PanAm...... Yes, I acutally do for a number of reasons - its different and it gets me away from peg scraping and tyre shredding run on twisty tarmac all the time. It allows me to go down that dirt road I have always wanted to go down when flying past in a blur. its comfortable for big distances, electronics packed, great motor, great suspension and for some reason motorcycle cops wave at me now 😆 So, its not necessarily the PanAm but what is does for me. Oh, and I am scraping things on the twisty corners with 80/20 tyres... 😁😄
Looks like it was a good day out, that rain that was setting in is all the rain I caught on Monday, doesn't take much to make it slick...Will definitely check out Easter Monday Track, but probably not until winter is over, traction may be an issue...as you mentioned many of the tracks will be closed within the next 2 to 3 weeks...
The rock got slick real quick, one of the guys had a minor stack when his front wheel slid out from under him so that's when he called it a day. Easter Monday track is good fun and there's a few options which way to go. The way we went this time is the hardest.
Bit of tricky navigation past those rutted tracks!
Sure was. Lots of ruts everywhere!

Wow, big ride over a short time.
How do you like the pan america?
Lerderderg/wombat is a great area to ride. Good variety of tracks

Awesome. I've always liked the look of the pan america, probably just because it is different from every other adv bike on the market.
@@OzADVRider Agreed.
What an awesome ride! Stay upright mate 🙂
Cheers mate! Great to catch up yesterday
Good video Ian and a great day out on the bikes 👍
Thanks Joe! Great to meet you.
Did you end up going to Mt Blackwood tower?
No it was drizzling with rain so I went home - thanks for the ride

Yep. It was hard work going up Diggers, camera doesn't do it justice how rough it was.
