- Join me on a van camp in Northumberland's best beach park up!
Arriving just before the light was fading, i was greeted by spectacular views of the coast. The scenery the pitch offers is jaw-dropping, and best of all, it was free. I enjoyed a little walk along to the light house and back along to the castle. With the dark nights setting in very early, it was nice to be in the van eating warm food while still getting great views of the surroundings. I used the many hours of darkness to catch up on some of my favourite UA-camr's starting with @PaulMessner , @BUSHMANandBLUE , @thenorth-facewanderer6965 , @WildBeare and others.
With it been the winter, the temps were low, and having no heating in my van ment it was a chilly camp. My plan is to add some kind of power bank such as an @JackeryInc , @EcoFlowTech or similar. Then i can put a small 200w heater or so in the van and also in my tents too.
All in all a nice relaxing time with great views!

Great video I love winter park ups. I was out this weekend, no one around suits me. Diesel heater makes me all toasty. heated blankets work well on a inverter.

Class vid as always mate cracking spot too..... been there loads of times its a belta.... always been able to get a space despite it being on park 4 night. The van looking mint mate and those sausages looked fantastic. ATB my mate see you soon

Yeah some kind of heating would definitely make the colder times alot better. Definitely get up there as the views are cracking!

😂 a Goat. It’s called Stag rocks. The lighthouse keepers saw a white stag (hart) on the beach years ago like. My grandad used to paint it to freshen it up on occasion. I was brought up in Bamburgh. I’m amazed nobody moved you on. The no overnight parking signs have either been nicked or they’ve decided to let folks stay. It is a cracking place like. Lots of memories playing on those rocks. Yeah the cold breeze fairly drops the temps. Our wild camping gear makes it a comfortable camp though. Hope to see you there soon. All the best to you too for the new year and thanks for watching!
Sadly this spot is no more. The council has stuck in huge wooden tree trunk size posts to stop anyone parking up :(

no longer allowed to camp there overnight
is it safe to to leave your valuables in camper van? Is there much crime?
Off to do Northumberland tour for 10 days other than this one any good park up spots you could recommend,I do have what3words app.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Well this will certainly ruin it for sure. Signs will be up within weeks saying no overnight parking!
Hardly I’ve been using that spot for years it’s advertised all over on apps etc and always gets full
Further down they have two car parks not for use with signage
