In the words of Marko Hietala, who also sings the lead in this: “It’s a song about a universe, or actually a multiversal force, so grand, so majestic, that it actually binds and permeates everything. All of our lives are just tiny particles in this mighty flow. And then there’s this mere human vocalist, and his friend, a human being as well, has written a story. And we’re in this rock group trying to bring its unique loneliness across to other mere humans.”
Masterpiece of a song, amazing, thoughtful lyrics, the end ALWAYS brings me tears...... but you cracked me up when you thought Marco was a "deep-sounding Floor" 😂😂😂😂
Depressing? I respectfully disagree, I find this very uplifting and it's probably my favourite track on the album. "Follow me into the dark, To the birth of everything." That to me is hope and continuity in the face of the immensity of the universe.
me too, it is done in a doom style but it makes me smile and feel good about the inevitable. Just because we are all going to die doesn't mean it has to be a depressing thought!
If you are going to listen to Nature of the album. Just put headphones on and close your eyes and drift away in the beuatiful music for a half hour.... ..🥰
This song is about death and the belief that we are all going to the endless unseen stream of consciousness at the end of everything. This is Marcos big song. A song called Endlessness could not be short. The subject is so profound and deep. Most of Nightwish are not big religious people. They consider themselves to be openly secular.
This is 100% not the last song - now it's time for "All The Works Of Nature Which Adorn The World", which is broken up into individual parts. It's GORGEOUS and so worth listening to. I like it much, much more than Greatest Show On Earth, tbh.
Hey guys, no that is definitely Marco, with Floor and Troy doing the chorus as well as Marco lol but what a way to end the album. A stunning end to a great album with quite a nice violin solo at the end which I can play. Also the symbol is Human Nature in Cuneform
Don't think i've seen Procession guys, and ofc this is Marko backed up by Floor and Troy :) And while you are at it do Sahara Live from Tampa And Ayreon-Age of Shadows you will love both of them
The symbol is what's on the cover of their new album: Human :||: Nature. It's in the cunei form (arrowhead writing) of the ancient Sumeria, southern Mesopotamia, now Iraq. It's written in the order: Human ------------ Nature
@ Hypre Train, i have also Tickets booked for a Nightwish Show in Louxembourgs Rockhall, just as a side comment Tuomas and Jukka (there C.E.O) stated that from there side all Tickets are still valid and shows will be only postponed not canceled...so it just a matter of time. Also I think the song isn’t about death but rather about time
Need to do “High Hopes” from Nightwish featuring Marco singing, is cover of Pink Floyd song, given NW treatment. Is from End of Era, I think you will enjoy this. Dare I say this, nearly better than original!! At least I think it is, even being a Pink Floyd fan. Love your reactions, keep up good work. Greetings from Australia ❤️🇦🇺🤘
Still missing my fav from the album Procession, staying tuned for that one. And of course you have the whole Nature part of the album still untouched. It has my second fav masterpiece from this album ”Quiet as the Snow”. You might wanna do that album on one go, it flows so well. Ty for your reactions.
The meaning of the song is quite straightforward: the idea is that all of our atoms in the end return to the state they were in before we were born, that we are part of an endless stream of atoms that move through the universe. Thematically it actually harkens back to Greatest Show On Earth where Richard Dawkins talks about our brief time in the sun, well this one tells of the time before and after that time and how we should actually embrace that idea.
Haha guys - you need to watch or remember more Marko led vocal videos to know his voice better. Marko is awesome. Try the Pink Floyd cover High hopes, The Islander, or while your lips are still red to name a few.
The song is not about death. Yes, that's a part of the song. But it's really about... endlessness. The death is not the end. It's the end of this lifea s we know it, but it's the birth of everything. Well, not everything we know here. Just like life of a fetus is not the same anyone when it's born to to this life. It comes to a new world through the birth channel, just like many who've been telling about their near death experiences tell about the kind of worm hole they went through, or went some distances before waking here again. And to that new level is where God is calling us. If we accept that invitation, it's like the maternal egg receives the seed of life from the father, for a new life to be born, when a baby is born. Otherwise it just exits, gives it's blood for other life forms to use.
Guys...You definitely need new headphones....it is clearly "medium" sounding Marco alone. He can do plenty of great vocals from high tenor scale to low end bass growls...awesome singer also in his solo stuff just see it as well.
death is NOT depressing and macabre, imo. I am a nurse and saw many people go...including my father. We are all part of the universe, something beautiful. Make it worth it
Depressive? The one who told you that, does not understand the lyrics. The DOOM feel is maybe depressive...but actually the message is quiet possitive. It's about human ife and universal life. Precious and rare. That it is endlessnes, the circle does not stop. Not depressive at all. And if we go over (to your sea) we all hope it will be quick and painless. (tippping the reaper) Saw all the faces in the clouds. humans being passed. Floor is the mother of life, life of a child, life of a new star in the uiverse.
Depressing? It's beautiful...and you're still getting the album name wrong, Dave. 🤦 Floor's just released her English language version of the charity song she did for WarChild. It's called The Fight Goes On. Please give that a go - but don't blame me if you cry. I've tried (unsuccessfully) three times to get through it without blubbing.
Come on guys. Your Nightwish pause was clearly too long if you don't recognize Marko anymore. 😂
I'm easily confused 😂-dave
@@HypeTrain-Follow i am also Hype Truck
You guys 😂

Me too I agree this is my favorite but it’s a masterpiece of an album!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Indeed. We revert back to atoms and reappear eventually. Maybe as part of a goose. It's all good and natural.
If you are going to listen to Nature of the album. Just put headphones on and close your eyes and drift away in the beuatiful music for a half hour.... ..🥰
I really love this whole album........ musically, lyricwise, just everything.
It's definitely Marco taking the lead vocal on this track! Backed by Floor and Troy.

Most? Not all of them?
Great song and a fine way to end a superb album...🤘

with quite a nice violin solo at the end which I can play. Also the symbol is Human Nature in Cuneform
The first symbol is Sumerian for nature and the second Assyrian for human
Don't think i've seen Procession guys, and ofc this is Marko backed up by Floor and Troy :) And while you are at it do Sahara Live from Tampa And Ayreon-Age of Shadows you will love both of them
Thanks for the heads up 👍😀-dave

Marco on lead vocals absolutely amazing great song 🔥🔥

Both Marko and Emppu kill it. The intensity of emotion may have something to do with the Tarja situation. "Friends around you..."

The perfect end to a great album
Haha guys - you need to watch or remember more Marko led vocal videos to know his voice better.

Lol yeah had us wondering 😂🤣😂... Kev

Official description of Marko’s voice: Deep sounding Floor 😂
Lol 😂... Kev

The guys are so fell in love with Floor, that everything sounds like her...even Marco😉
Lol
I love the video and the song keep it up
I don't believe you have done 'Procession' yet, that's my favorite on the whole album (very sad, but true though)!
It's mainly Marko
Come on guys..its defenitely Marco😁..he's is a fantastic singer as wel..
Yes -it's Floor that sings it just that the beard she suddenly got makes her sound strange.
I know Aussies, but is that a deep sounding Floor? Jesus fucking Christ.
death is NOT depressing and macabre, imo. I am a nurse and saw many people go...including my father. We are all part of the universe, something beautiful. Make it worth it
Guys you are only half way through. That was the Human side now you need to listen to Cd2 Nature which is mainly instrumental.
Depressive? The one who told you that, does not understand the lyrics. The DOOM feel is maybe depressive...but actually the message is quiet possitive. It's about human ife and universal life. Hi friends, glad to be one of first ones to see your reaction to this magnificent piece...
Ah, btw as far as suggestions go, today has been released english version of War child project (The Fight Goes On) might be worth checking...
Cheers, thanks for the heads up 👍-dave
It's Marko singing
Floor sings just a bit
Lol is that Floor?? Lolol ok
I like this song a lot! And btw, if you want to react to more funny stuff, i suggest "Hypa Hypa" and "McThunder" from Eskimo Callboy....😅😎🤘🖤♥️💛🤘
Thanks for the suggestions 👍-dave
Marko :)
Depressing? It's beautiful...and you're still getting the album name wrong, Dave. 🤦
