    Wonderful video , thank you for sharing. Beautiful peice of jewlery. my eyes are not what they once were, is there any way you could include more close up photos of certain steps, like in the introduction..a straight down view of glass placement before you put in mw , after it comes out ? There was a great close up near the end. Maybe I just need a bigger phone lol. But thank you for this tutorial. I've learned from you on other videos as well :) very clear instructions and great work. 😊 ty

    90 (bullseye) or System96 (many companies) coe is for fusing mainstream ... The borosilicate family (33coe) types can and have been used but the energy it takes to do so makes it a waste of $. TY for the demo, was very informative and I dig the accent lotz 8).

    Thanks for watching our video and commenting. I haven't ever used COE 33, but I understand that it has a higher melting temp than COE 90, therefore you would need to fuse it for a longer time period in the microwave kiln, I'm guessing.

    How do you make your bracelet. It is so pretty.

    • @GlazeGlassJewellery
      @GlazeGlassJewellery Рік тому

      The bracelet is glass fused with a white background piece of glass with a smaller blue glass piece fused on top using the same technique shown in this video. The glass piece is then glued using E6000 onto a silver cuff bracelet.

    Hello Debbie, you inspired me with your videos fusing glass in a microwave kiln it is really fun to see the end results, but I am having a problem a problem and I don`t know why it is happening when I open my kiln after its cooled down there is frequently 1 piece that is ok and the other is looks like if the dicro that is between the top glass layer is grey it looks like it boiled or burnt between the glass and the other one is perfect the store that sold me the dicro said that they were all 096. would you have an idea why this happens?

    If using a ceramic kiln, what temperature do you fire? Also do need to use different ramps? Thanks, trying to start making dicro glass pendants in my kiln

    Is the dichroic facing down? I thought unless you cap with clear you have to face it down… is this right?

    Sorry, I can't give you the answer to that one - we use only COE 90. Perhaps someone else could help here?

      +Nancy Daniel I believe they use the regular one as long as it gets to the temp needed.

    Was unable to see the finished pendant, camera view too far away. Since only one strip of clear was at an angle wouldn’t the piece be off center. Rather than showing the whole scene it would be better to just see a overhead view of just the piece you’re working on, no hands, surroundings, etc.
