Just picked this game up last month and finished my first playthough with the gladiator. This was actually the first dragon I encountered, not sure how or why, but I only ended up fighting one there (was shocked to find a second one on the wood elf char I am playing now, lol) Had no idea other classes could bypass the dang zone walls like that, those have been the most annoying part besides finding really good loot that I can't wear or use at all! I really wish there was a way to turn the single player setting to where each time you load its a fresh map like in multiplayer. this game lags the daylights out of my shitty laptop when I zoom out, but after seeing your channel I am considering trying to multibox with your exe so I can at least transfer my good loot finds onto new characters that can use them and farm bosses to satisfy my D2 habit. So far the dragons are the only thing I've found that actually drop well (comparable to act bosses in D2). Maybe that will change when I move them up to the next difficulty, though, but it doesn't seem likely. This game was a lot more fun/complex/interesting than I thought it would be. The first few hours are kind of rough adjusting from D2 but once it clicks it became quite good. Definitely would recommend trying it to those maybe looking for a side D2 fix that's a bit less familar!
Didn't realize video is so old lol. The point is that the frost dragons are close together, so you kill 2 with one shot. Anyway you should always kill the dragon(s) whose resistances are lower than your character's main damage aka don't kill the fire dragon with fire damage xD
Hello, I recently got my hero to lvl 216 and I realized I need the highest lvl items. Unfortunately the dragons I fight have 232 lvl (not 234 as on the video). Do you know why? Thank you
Hi, first of all, thanks for watching the video. After lots of hours of dedication, it turns that I figured out that sacred's developers introduced a functionality that fights against "exploits" at level 216. Not at level 100, not at level 215, but at level 216, which is the maximum. I could prove the anti-exploit by trying to kill dragons, like you. I used the F8/F9 keys for fast-save / fast-load, and after loading the game the dragon constantly loses levels. Turns out this only happens at level 216. In your case, I think the difference in levels comes from the survival bonus (my dragon is 234, yours is 232), since my dark elf has a 96% of SB. The more % of SB your character has, the more difference in levels there will be between you and your enemies (which is understood to be good). Greetings and have a good day.
@@locust-sacredgold3860 Thank you! But I did not die even a single time. I do not have resurrections. SB just has to be high. Btw, I play the reborn mode. But mechanic of SB there is the same as in original sacred
i only can choose gold and silver difficulty for the MP. i ended sacred gold in platin and now i can enter niob, but i am only level 91. maybe you have a tip for me. have a nice day my friend!
Multiplayer works different than singleplayer. In singleplayer you need to complete the campaign to access the next level of difficulty. However, in multiplayer you will access each level of difficulty depending on your character level: Level 1 - 60: Bronze Level 20 - 100: Silver Level 60 - 140: Gold Level 100 - 180: Platinum Level 140 - 216: Niobium
@@locust-sacredgold3860 i got it, thank you for your fast response! should i level/farm ice-elves in platin(SP)? now i cleared the starting area in underworld(paltin), feel like exp and loot are above average. niob gives less exp as i thought and the items are high level stuff.
@@grotesk87 yes, it is a good way, because high elves gives a lot of experience. Although I always recommend farming dragons or bosses, if the experience input is faster with elves than with dragons, you can easily farm elves.

I played this game when it came out. Now I'm replaying it. It's quite a good game. Don't get it how I didn't realize that years ago.
Very interesting, thanks!
I know it's sort of an older vid but, isn't it faster/more efficient to just farm D'cay? It seems much faster to me.

is there an xp statue anywhere near this place?
Closest statue to a dragon is in Plains of Tyr-Hadar (the 2 ice dragons).
