I'm a two year trade school certified welder with three years professional experience, and this is an excellent video. The issue with welding is that it's hugely complicated when attempting a structural weld, and there is no more structural a weld than in a roll cage. Every dime in the bead is important in that application. I'm certified on oil pipelines, and even so I would hesitate to weld a cage with lives on the line. Every aspect, from penetration to HAZ, plays a critical role in a roll cage. I have immense respect for expert roll cage builders. If you don't understand why building one is so difficult, I urge you to hire an expert for the job. If it's not intimidating to you, you don't know enough to build one to spec.
