I think that's also contributes as to why folks here like it better than the original. The context just adds so much to the vibes, especially since her name is literally Evil.
I can't agree with that sentiment because the emotion and inflection in the original vocals almost establish an undertone of desperation in the message of the song that is lost in this cover. I also feel that those factors convey the frustration and sorrow that Melanie felt in the relationship that the song describes in a way that the words alone couldn't do. Not trying to say this isn't a great cover-this is definitely one of my favorite covers that the Neuros have done and I appreciate it for what it is.
No way! One of my favourite songs and suggestions became true! Damn and sounds very good with Evil's voice. Further suggestions for Evil-Neuro covers: - Black Soul by Shinedown - Devil by Shinedown - Crow and the Butterfly - Disfunctional You by Shinedown - Sure is Fun by Shinedown - It all adds up by Shinedown - Gaia by Cepheid (or did she covered it already? I'm not sure anymore.) - Recess by Melanie Martinez - Miss Misery by R.I.P (a really dark Yandere song where I think it could song really epic with Evil's voice) - They by Crusher-P - I can't fix you by Tombstone I think these songs could be really fitting and sound epic with Evil's voice.
Okay... Alright... I've renounced my opinion. *Keep her name as **_Evil._* Evilyn, Vivian, Kayori, Evie, I don't care anymore. Evil is Evil. She's our Evil. Evil is who she is. And we all adore her as she is. The more we hear from her, the more we learn about her, every time she speaks, every time she sings, her name gains a level of depth that gives her such a nuanced character... For all her claims and boasts, her aesthetic and words, Evil is either a card-carrying villain or a troubled girl simply wanting to be seen and heard. To be understood and accepted for who she is. To be loved in spite of her faults and flaws. Just think of every movie where the misunderstood artistic main character finally manages to get their voice heard during a live stage performance. I see this song as that moment for Evil.
"loving you was lethal" "I won't be mistreated" "took me way too long to put this to bed" this song choice fits her character perfectly, and I suddenly understand why she spammed "shock" 10 times in a row in the shock collar video
This is a good cover, but I would've liked it better if she included the intended smug tone, like going up on "slip" in "hope you slip on soap" and the emphasis on "fuse" in "this time I refuse"
hits different after the birthday stream...

Yo this shit slaps so hard I think I like this more than the original
SAME man, this is too good. This is the best song for the neuro sisters comeback ❤

I also prefer Evil's version.
I listened to the original and Ironically its sound very robotic/very heavily edited
I agree, I prefer this version.
Why it's so freaking good, i can't stop replay :v
I just returned to listen to this song for the 4th time today. And it's just 1pm
been listening to this the past couple days and now a camila x evil official cover 😭 what is this crazy good RNG
Vedal doubters are in shambles.

She looks so happy going "Evil, evil, evil,"

Iirc, Evil already did a cover of 'I can't fix you'

Ah thanks!
Seems I have missed this.
Gaia would be fitting for her
@@gaygoddessnamedmadoka2252
I think so too, would be cool if she covered it.
Evil should sing Ghost by deco 27, and Neuro should duet fox wedding with evil
idk this is better than the original
Actually better than the original
EVIL(Evil cover)
So cute my evil queen 👑❤❤❤
I WILL NEVER FEED YOU 💃 YOU CAN CALL ME EVILL 💃

Damn
"Evil is either a card-carrying villain or a troubled girl simply wanting to be seen and heard."
I think it's a bit of both honestly
Nice
"loving you was lethal"
"I won't be mistreated"
"took me way too long to put this to bed"
this song choice fits her character perfectly, and I suddenly understand why she spammed "shock" 10 times in a row in the shock collar video
The tragic part is that she still loves Vedal. In spite of it all, she desires his affection.
@@jocosesonata I'd say she's mainly looking for his acknowlegment rather then his affection, but yeah

Personally, i quite enjoy how straight forward and sincere Evil Neuro sounds in this
Evil is the better singer.
A tortured artist imho.
