We have to talk about SVH and Sweet Dreams! Not only did I read 'em back in the day, I do a ton of critical work on them, and am currently working on an article comparing the ideology of the 1980s YAs to the 1950s. I've done so much academic work/presentations on SVH that googling my name results in pix of the Wakefield twins, which is... something.

And Sweet Dreams are what got me into reading and writing romance and I loved them so much!! Those magnets @4:58 are neodymium magnets (also called rare earth magnets), and they are great for finding studs in the wall (even through the drywall)! No more tapping, or missing a stud; simply run the magnet next to the wall and it will stick to a stud! They're fantastic!
That office is gorgeous and so well laid out! The Sweet Valley Twins books are a nostalgia hit for me - I started reading them in second or third grade, and I used to have a bunch of them. I only read a few of the Sweet Valley High books, because I got into the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys Super Mystery books during middle school, and the Sara Stanley books by L.M. Montgomery. And Remember Me! That is THE Christopher Pike novel. I'm glad that you've gotten to a place where you can see your vision board come to life, and work in your dream office. Thank you for sharing!

If there's more than one of the small ones they can get stuck up kids noses. I'm a preschool teacher and I've heard of this happening. It's a nightmare!! It's good you are keeping them up high.

Rainbow color order, Sanrio (Hello Kitty, especially!), stationary, planners, washi (simply gilded!), books, markers…love it! I have a new thing for you to collect…Archer & Olive journals! They are gorgeous and I’m working on my rainbow order! I’ve wanted to do the sticky note thing forever. I CANNOT find a planner (digital or paper!) that fits my brain. I’ve tried the multiple planner things and nothing works! I MUST HAVE THOSE EMILY LEY NOTEBOOKS! Rebecca! Girl…we need to be friends.

We've been getting glimpses over the last month or so, but this was so worth the wait. It's gorgeous and well deserved. Re Sweet Valley High: those books did make it across the pond, and the only thing I really remember as a skinny UK size 8 teen was the teeny tiny US sizes of the twin girls and their mother (I think size 2 and size 0), which I didn't realise were different to UK sizes at the time. I was like, how are these girls still alive? 🤣

Seal one or two in small zip lock bags so they are harder to get to. You can easily pick them up, also!
