are there sharks in there? I just heard about that surfer in Hawaii who just had to have his foot amputated and his leg is also pretty torn up. The shark wouldn't let go, and almost bled out but his friends tied a tourniquet around his leg to suspend the bleeding. They rarely ever have any incidents in that spot where they were surfing, but it had rained recently, and if you know about sharks, you know they are on the prowl after rainstorms and will attack.

He is resting in hospital with more surgeries to come but has the loving support of his family & friends and works at the airport in baggage handling and vows to return to work with a prosthetic and has the support of his work-staff to help him. It's a miracle he's alive, he wrestled with the shark and eventually grabbed into the gills since he couldn't get to the eyes, once he touched the gills, the Tiger Shark let go of his leg immediately. Thanks
I have a simple question: where all these surfers get their money from to surf and do nothing whole year? It is not cheap even to get an economy flight there from USA. that means someone sponsors these trips? who and why?If they go on their own- thatmeans they do not work, don't have mortgages, car payments, educational loans, kids, families to take care?

Not really no. Only one spot with multiple accidents with sharks, but the rest are fine.
