@@DreZato12 was coming here to say this, not sure if she's seen anyone else point it out (we might not have gotten that part of the react) but good on ya for bringing it up.
I'm pretty sure the reason why Al wasn't talking in that scene is because Ed and Al don't want a lot of people to know that Al's body is just an empty suit of armor and also Al was just a busted up suit of armor in a box. Dr Marco was stressed out enough, he didn't need to be freaked out by Ghost Armor speaking out of nowhere.

Hey Melon! I'm pretty sure someone already answered this, but you're right. On the periodic table, boron is the 5th element, but the 5th element also refers to terms used within alchemy itself. that's why Marcoh names a few different names while describing the liquid form of the stone.
Re: Dr Marcoh running away
In fairness to him, he is running away from "Alex Louis Armstrong!" who is known to strip when excited, I think a lot of people would run away from an exhibitionist muscle man like that.
Psh maybe an amateur, no one compares to Alex's prestige!

By the way, in the original Fullmetal Alchemist anime from 2003. The anime took a different direction with it's story and antagonists. Once get to around episode 13 or 14 of Brotherhood. It will be considered complete manga canon from then on. I'd go so far as to say that the 2003 version is almost as good as Brotherhood. So if you're interested in looking into that version after you watch Brotherhood, then I wouldn't mind you reacting to it.
Ed is rich being a state alchemist pays very well and all he buys is train tickets food and repairs for his metal arm and leg.

Winry is realy cool. And luckily she never gets bad, she never goes the Sakura route of beeing a useless Crybaby, or Bulma a Asshole whos misstreating People.
In the Manga when the Father returned, he was just standing there and wondered, what happened to my House? It was so funny, sadly not happen in the Anime.
That’s because her strength lies elsewhere. She’s not a fighter; she’s a builder, an engineer.
Even with his alchemy Ed doesn’t know how to remake his arm when it’s smashed like that even if he could do it one armed.

This is one of the best anime, mha, demon slayer, and jutsutsu kaisen are ok, but them be youngsters
If she is gonna use special steel alloys, i feel like she should have added vanadium to strengthen the steel as much as chrome to resist rust. Eds an alchemist after all, transmuting an alloyed component should be cake for him, and even with one arm, as long as he can draw the circle, he should be able to use alchemy. As a side benefit, it might provide some small resistance to scars deconstruction ability as he won't know its exact materials.

Alphonse is my favorite character
He just so kind and caring
Edward is strong but can be really recalls but him and Alphonse make a great team and there the best brother ever I love them both so much
