    Thankyou!!! You explained it so nicely without getting to deep into the chemistry terminology and at the same time teaching enough so that we can do it pain-free. My only question is, what do we do in the case where a decomposition-type reaction is given, for example, 2H2O2 (l) -> 2H2O (l) + O2(g)? It that just one of Alek's trick questions where I leave it blank?

      when a lewis acid and lewis base react, they tend to form a coordinate covalent bond, which means decomposition reaction cannot happen and we cant apply it
