- Every year for the ease of the passengers railways deploy special trains during the peak season of Diwali and Chatt Puja and consistently every year we observe one pattern of delay in these special trains and 5-6 hours of delay is every common for these special trains.
Today in this video I have explained why these special trains are usually delayed 5-6 hours and why railways could not do anything to rectify this
यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए रेलवे हर साल दिवाली और छठ पूजा के पीक सीजन में स्पेशल ट्रेनें चलाता है और हर साल हम इन स्पेशल ट्रेनों में देरी का एक पैटर्न देखते हैं और इन स्पेशल ट्रेनों में 5-6 घंटे की देरी आम बात है। आज इस वीडियो में मैंने बताया है कि ये स्पेशल ट्रेनें आमतौर पर 5-6 घंटे देरी से क्यों चलती हैं और रेलवे इसे सुधारने के लिए कुछ क्यों नहीं कर पाया।

Waha ke log har train ke lie stoppage maangte hain bhale unke route m kitni v train ho kisi destination ke lie lekin stoppage wale har trains m us train ki destination k lie na kr barabar lekin local passengers bhar jate hain bas 2, 3 stoppage k lie aur ye Jamui se lekar Patna aur Buxar se lekar Patna tak hota h.

nice to see ur explanations. as per my knowledge the real reason for late running of trains is poor investment in doubling/tripling of tracks, outdated signaling, poor quality rakes, etc. Increase 2nd class sleeper fares and make genuine investments in enhancing railway infra .Per capita income of an average Indian has increased in last 20 years. Public want better service, not cheaper fares.
If train is getting late daily by 8-16 hra, why don't they change the Public time table so that passengers are are not made to wait for so long
Also at the time of booking they should give a disclaimer they special trains are prone to getting late. Pls book in accordance

I'm a controller in railways and there is no correlation between special trains running late and WTT and PTT. PTT of any train is always 5 to 10 minutes earlier than WTT to maintain the punctuality. In fact it's all about punctuality, normal trains come under punctuality and special trains don't come under punctuality. Another thing to note is that the path given to special trains is generally the path in which goods train is operated or maintenance blocks are given that's why due to bunching of goods train and blocks, these special trains get late.

Mera 2 October , 2:30 pm ko Rajesthan(khatipura) to West Bengal(Asansol) 3 October 12:40 pm ka puja special train tha jo ki 18 hours late hua or mujhe 4 October ko 6:30 am mei Utara, wo alag baat hai ki ek station pehle train 5 ghante se ruke hone ke Karan frustrated hoke maine waha se auto kar liya..

special trains are planned to clear rush or to provide a link between two places. They do not have regular slot allotted to them and they are run on makeshift slots decided instantly by rail traffic monitors and controllers. Already IR has full utility of existing tracks in main routes. For example the traffic utility percentage of Pune Solapur Wadi Guntakkal Renikunta line would be 500% and even existing trains are only locals so much so that Bangalore and Chennai have no durranto or premium trains to Mumbai town. Even same is the status of Mumbai Surat Vadodara delhi line and also Surat Bhusaval Manmad Akola Wardha line. Even tripling or quadrupling will not result in much change as new and new services are introduced without improving the run of existing services. Thanks

What if a special train is running with full occupancy and with slight delay everyday can these train be run as normal train? example train no 05290 Pune Muzaffarpur AC sf express runs with full occupancy can railway give that train a permanant train no like instead of 05290 it will run as 25290 as a regular train service instead of special train?

छपरा से जालना तक चलने स्पेशल वीकली ट्रैन मैंने वाराणसी से बोर्ड की उसका टाइम था रात के २:३० am लेकिन आयी सुबह ४ बजे और वाराणसी निकली ७ बजे जो उसके स्टॉप दिए थे उस जगह तो रुक रही हैं और जो स्टॉप नहीं हैं वही भी रुक रही थी इतना सब लेट तो चल रही थी जबलपुर और नरसिंगपुर के बिच का अंतर् हैं ८४ km लेकिन पहुंची ४ घंटे लेट मुझे जाना था जालना गिरते पड़ते रेंगते रेंगते हम २१ घंटे लेट होकर पहुंचे थे जालना
