Yo I swear your my hero. I know this sounds so sad but when I had no friends I used to watch origami videos so I had something to make me feel better and this just makes me so happy that you're uploading again
Thanks Boyang, that means a lot. Glad I was able to give you something to enjoy, we've all gone through times where we felt alone like that so I can definitely relate. Friends and family are the most important things in this world, as well as your own health and well being. Hope you have a great new year and enjoy your day!
The last time I watched one of these origami videos I was maybe 8-9, now I'm 17 (almost 18 actually) and I can't wait to teach me niece how to fold origami as well! She's also right around the same age I was when I first learned origami, haha. It's honestly a bit surreal to come back to this channel after so long though, I remember being so frustrated with the butterfly but after I figured it out it became one of the only things I made, this channel was genuinely a part of my childhood and even impacted my childhood by giving me a new skill I could show off to relatives I didn't see often. It's incredible to think that around 8 years ago I began watching these videos and truly taking in the knowledge, and even today I know I can still make decent origami despite having not even attempted it in years now. So, thanks Rob, because this is just a big nostalgia trip for me that put a big smile on my face
Back in 2010 I was introduced to Rob's channel by randomly searching 'how to make...' and the dropdown showing '... a paper ninja star' 8 years later Rob and Leela are still big heroes for making those years great. Now although I do feel I've grown up and a little less interested in origami, I'll never stop my support for this man right here ! Hope there are still young fans around making boomerangs and ninja stars
Hey Waleed, yes I remember seeing comments from you on my videos so thanks so much for the support! I am the same way in that I like doing all sorts of things not just Rubik’s cubes and Origami. Going to try and bring some new stuff to my channel soon. So if you have any other interests that you enjoy let me know!
@@RobsWorld Not like I don't fold paper (I still occasionally do it). I remember being motivated to solve cubes and juggling, which I successfully learnt though a few other channels and tutorials deserve credit. That stick bomb era was great (I remember giving my cat one hell of a surprise with it). Honestly if you'd be recording and narrating a video of just a stick I'd watch that too because you know how to keep the entertainment flowing. Stay Blessed Rob !
Wow!! I used to watch these videos in the 6th grade and now im a freshman in college and still remember some origami from the to of my head because of you Rob!!!
i remember watching you’re ninja star and balloon tutorials, i used to go into school and show my friends and they would be surprised, that was in like 3rd grade i think i’m now a freshman in high school, so glad to see that you’re back
You still do videos, I remember watching your ninja star video and showing kids at my elementary school. When I was younger I had just moved to a new town and had no friends and your videos helped me make friends . I was about 8 at the time I'm 17 now. You're actually my hero and I'm so happy you started videos again
my guy rob. i remember learning this stuff back in primary school. cant believe you're still here. thanks for being a role model for me. cant wait to see what you have next in store!
Hey Rob glad your back I remember watching your vids with my cousin all the time as a kid and learning how to do oragami keep up the good work and happy new year
I remember being in elementary school watching your videos. Now I’m about to leave for college. You were the first UA-camr I started watching. Keep up the good work!
Yo Your my hero did know these but once I saw the video how to solve 6x6 cube then I went to your channel then I saw how cool things u made Thanks so much bro
Rob was my idle back in 2k11. (I was in kindergarten) this just makes me nostalgic and everyday kids would think I’m cool more than weird because I would always do origami and stick bombs.
your videos introduced me to origami when i was in 3rd grade... now im a college freshman... and i still get the same excitement when you upload a video 😂
Rob went to get his hair cut but when the barber turned the chair around he was sucked into the mirror and started making videos in the mirror dimension for a while. He only just got back to our world
oh my gosh it’s rob i learned like pretty much everything from you how to make boomerangs and ninja stars and how to tie my shoes (which i still tie with a ninja knot) and how to solve a rubik’s cube man thank you so much
This may sound very common but like truly u are also my childhood hero, I have learned soo many great origami tutorials from you that i even remember to this day perfectly because of your such a talented way of teaching. Really love your work keep doing it!
When your trying to connect them definitely do the little x marks he does and insert the left side into the right side by lining up the mark on the edge of the left into the mark in the middle of the diamond on the right and line them up creating a new little diamond then line the rest of the creases up so that they all match and work together
After all these years Leela is still alive!!! :D Wow, good job on taking care of her for so long! I currently have a cat that I've had for 6 or 7 years.
Yeah she is gonna be 12 in April! She’s been with me a long time, and I hope for an even longer time. That’s great that you have a cat that long too :)
ROB!! You’re really everyone’s hero my man! I remember about 8-9 years ago when I stumbled upon your videos with my brother and you truly made our childhoods! The sleepless nights of making a ninja star arsenal to showing off to friends on how we can tie our shoes incredibly fast to making anything out of paper! Bless your soul my man you really changed and helped the world of many young creative minds!
easier version of the end part: if you are stuck on the end of combining the two ends, you could just tape or glue the two parts together. it works, and its also easier.
Hey, Rob, I just popped in your channel for the first time in about 10 years and I wanted to say how glad I was to see that you're still alive and kicking haha. I was only 9 years old when you taught me how to solve a 3x3 Rubik's Cube and make little origami crafts and now I'm 18. Time sure flies! I really appreciate your work and I hope for more videos to come!
Wow I cant believe Ive been watching you for so long. Im 14 right now and I started watching you when i was 6/7. Great video hope you have a great 2019.
Wow, it's so nice to see you post something once in a while. I watched your ninja star and boomerang videos when I was in 6th grade and now I'm in my third year of college.
Wow, thanks for watching all these years. Great to hear that you're in college now, seems like yesterday that I was a junior in undergrad -- man how time flies :-)
Rob, I know lots of people say this, but you truly are my hero, back when I was 8 or 9, I watched your video on the double sided ninja star and I got hooked into origami ever since. You are the reason I love origami. In fact, just a few months ago, I won an origami competition in my district with a model I learnt on your channel, the 16 pointed ninja star. I just really want to say that I love your content and in fact, you are literally the only creator whose post notifications are turned on, I really hope to see more origami content from you, bye! #robsquad
