I have them both and yeah the MRO is smaller and lighter but the PRO's glass is better hand's down. It's not unbearable but the MRO has a blue tint in the glass and also has a slight glare when there's a light source behind you. The PRO is Crystal clear even when looking through the see through cap. I like them both and if I had to choose between the two, it would all depend on the rifle I'm putting it on. If it's going on a lightweight compact sbr or pistol I would go with the MRO. If it's going on a battle rifle, I'll choose the PRO.
I have the Aimpoint Pro on my POF AR15 and Trijicon on my HK USC 45. Sits low and I have a trijicon reflex on my Troy AR15. Good choices in optics. My other rifles are all scoped.
If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the accent? I would guess something Scottish/Irish (I don’t mean to conflate the two, I know they’re different and some are quite proud of their heritage). Great comparison, love the subtle accent throughout the video.
@@havenbanks5778 can you elaborate, why mro is better? I understand mro has a blue tint and a bit of magnification base on some reviews I have seen. I’m trying to decide which one to buy thanks.
MRO is definitely lighter, but I'm not a fan of the exposed turrets. Also broke a seal on the rear eye piece on my MRO, just from normal use and the early MRO models had extremely fragile battery tabs... Haven't been able to break an Aimpoint yet but i've cooked an RMR and MRO now... Just sayin

Great video my friend, you've convinced me that I just need both of these optics. Thanks

Personally, I’d pick the Aimpoint PRO over the MRO 10 out of 10 times! The PRO is an awesome optic!
I put aero precision 30mm cantilever mount on my aimpoint pro cut weight a lot
If you get the green dot on the Trijicon it fixes the clarity of the MRO but the battery 🔋 life sucks!

No worries everyone asks me :) I'm originally from Scotland but I moved to the U.S 10+ years ago.
I get this wierd shifting vision looking through the MRO and I dont like the blue tint.
Great video, I was looking at these two specifically and you really helped with my decision.
Glad I could help!
Buy both the are great.
Good video brotha
Isn't this comparing apples to oranges? You should be comparing micro to mro. I'm lucky I have both pro on a ar rifle and mro on ar pistol, love both!
These are more comparable in price.
Tom from MySpace price but not specs... the MRO is a better value with the same features that is made in the USA.... MRO for the win
