We went there a few days ago. You can climb in fairly easily from the side opposite the path. Also, the United utilities car park is NOT for the public, its for united utilities. . Plus it gets locked at 5pm, so if your car is there it will be locked in. There is a public car park on the main road between the United utilities car park and the recreation centre (stanah lane) its on the side of the road closest to the lake. So on your right if your travelling from the United utilities car park, or on your left if coming from recreation centre. It has toilets. It's £2 to park. Maybe you could edit your video because people could get in trouble following your info. They could also miss out on visiting the pool because you said it was not possible to climb in.
Thanks for the information, we went here last year and things might have changed since then..as we parked in the recreation center.. I will definitely try to edit and add this in the video if it's technically possible ... Thanks again !!!
@@spiceandsights well technically you can still park there, as in there's nothing physically stopping you. We did, because we followed your video. As we were getting our stuff out of the car, a man came out of the United utilities building and kindly informed us that if we were going to the infinity pool, this wasn't the place to park as the gate is locked at 5pm and it was only really for united utilities. He told us about the public car park and said if we followed him, he'd show us where it was. He did us a right favour! Would have been a nightmare coming back to find our car locked in, in the middle of nowhere like that. I would hate for it to happen to anyone else. If you can't edit your video or add a note, perhaps you would consider deleting it, so as not to land anyone in trouble, as it very nearly did us!
Can you add the postcode to this public car park you are talking about? I think I have added the postcode of the Legburthwaite car park only in the description which I believe is run by utilita as I can see online and is a public car park. In any case, I will update the exact address.
@@spiceandsights I'll try and find the postcode. As I said, we were just shown it by the United utilities guy, so we didn't find it by postcode (hope that makes sense)
