Honestly they really didn't that much, if you watch his newer monster school video you will see that only the graphics really advanced and that's mainly only because mineimator's graphics advanced where in version 1.0.0 rendering came available so shaders did, the animation still stayed relatively the same, it's just that the animation in the newer video looks better because it uses ease in and ease out keyframes, and also uses the default walk cycles for mobs in mineimator. And this statement is pretty generous because really, he never put genuine effort into animating he always took shortcuts and used basic animation skills.
I was about 4 or 5 when I found the original versions of Monster School. Looking back, I should've just continued watching these videos, they made me so happy. (I'm 12,turning 13 now)
