The Great Eagle - Journey in the footsteps of Maimonides - Complete Series

Maimonides, also known as Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon (Rambam) is considered to be the greatest thinker and halakhic figure in the history of the Jewish world. This 3 part series (combined here) shows its life story, and its relevance to life of Jews, in particular those who lives in the State of Israel. This Series is in Hebrew (English subtitles, which still needs some adjustments...)
The first chapter tells the story of Maimonides' early life, from his birth in Cordoba (today's Spain), the flight to Morocco, his forced conversion to Islam, and his arrival in the Land of Israel.
The second chapter follows Maimonides' life in Egypt, where he wrote the monumental halachic book Mishneh Torah, which continues to influence our lives to this day.
The third chapter deals with the "Guide to the Perplexed," a book of philosophy written by Maimonides, which remains controversial and poses difficult questions for contemporary Judaism.
