- Ole Miss looked to defend their 2018 SEC Tournament Championship with a win over Vanderbilt. They took a big lead early, but you can never count the Vanderbilt Commodores out of a college baseball game.

Ole miss- Grae Kessinger (SS) drafted 128th overall to the Astros
Ole miss- Cooper Johnson (C) drafted 137th overall by the tigers
I’m surprised that 2nd Baseman for Vanderbilt didn’t get drafted
Thomas Dillard, Cole zabowski, Zack Phillips, Parker carraci (I don’t remember if he played in this game or not)

What a comeback.!. Best team top to bottom Vandy has had. The 3 seniors put them over the top. But hate those uniforms. Look so hot not in a good way on a sunny day. It WAS HOT that day. I was there and pretty depressed early on. Almost left but decided to stick it out.

@Eliot Jurgensen swear I’ve seen a call like that in the majors multiple times . If it goes right over the bag it can go in foul territory and make it hard for the defender and if it hits off the bag it’s obviously fair but that also can go anywhere and makes it hard for the defender so with that logic what’s the difference

That first inning call was the worst call i have ever seen.His foot was on the base,came off then went on the base again,And tagged him all before he even touched the base.The Vandy 2nd baseman had the tag on him while the Ump said he was safe and he wasnt even touching the base.I swear to god man these umps are blind.

Everyone talking bout the umps but ole miss got 5 runs in the first inning that they shouldn’t because of that call at 2nd
It might just be me but I found it extremely annoying that the color commentator was rambling about something unrelated to the game in the middle of three RBI at-bats in the fourth inning. He didn't stop talking until well after the ball was hit on all three occasions. I feel like when you talk over the entire flight of a home run ball and take up the space that should be used for an exciting call by the play-by-play commentator, you're not really doing it right.

So I’m 13 (I will be 14 in February 😎) but I play baseball too and I wear a chin guard on my helmet. How come college players dont? And rarely mlb? Also I have a cousin who plays baseball for Mississippi state and he doesn’t wear one either.
