@@dinglebobman5230 that’s a solid question! I know Balatro and Wizard of Legend are, but a fair amount of these are in early Access so it may just be Steam for now.
Feels strange that Koboo is reccomended among so many amazing games I did work hard on it but still surprised. Really means a lot to me thank you so much and happy holidays! 🎉
Great video, glad the UA-cam algorithm got me to it! I was always interested in Rogue PoP, but it came out so rough. Glad to see it’s better now, may have to dive into it!
Great video! You deserve waaay more subs! Keep us posted on rogue likes, there's a new one every other day, and it's always a great way to pass the time.
First time I've seen your videos in my recommendations, good job by UA-cam, looking forward to more. Interesting list with great breakdown. I'll need to check out Scarlet Tower, hadn't ever heard of it. My list for 2024 off the top of my head would be Balatro at 1 and then Death Must Die, Hall of Torments, Nordic Ashes in no particular order.
Glad my video found you! Death Must Die is great! Was my favorite of 2023, but I kinda fell off after an update earlier this year. Might get back in when it goes 1.0
@@bassicfun78 Hasn't it yet? I played it a lot in Jan/Feb, too. Kinda had my share and didn't feel the need to return. Unlike Vampire Survivors for example. And I completely forget about Deep Rock Galactic Survivor earlier. Though, I didn't quite like how slow the meta progression was laid out in that game. Satisfying game-play though.
First time coming across your channel. Good video, earned a sub. I was holding off on buying Windblown since I loved Dead Cells, but you've convinced me to buy it and Koboo.
I will definitely check out Koboo, that's an emphatic recommendation. I love that the majority of these are Isometrics or Platformers, you definitely have a type here lol. So many good roguelikes this year, Shogun Showdown, Balatro the GOAT. I'm really excited to try Ballionaire, it looks like a blast. Appreciate the list!
Thanks! Yea I like what I like lol. I’ve heard good things about Shogun Showdown. Got it free on GOG, but I haven’t had played it yet. Ballionaire looks interesting! Gives me Peglin vibes. I do want to branch out and try some games like that next year!
Hey buddy, try Astral Ascent. It is literally Hades side scroll but looks like Children of Morta. Astral Ascent is amazing! I guarantee you will love it.
Maaaan this top 10 rocks! I'm SO happy you have The Rogue Prince of Persia in first place, I'm a huge supporter of the game. I've 230 hours right know on it and I can't wait for January for the next update to come. I mean, I opened my UA-cam channel for that game only 😅 the amount of builds you can do now is insane, with a lot of medallions from the october update and a lot of weapons from the september one. It's definitely my GOTY 😉 For the other games, I'm looking forward Gatekeeper, it seems interesting and I think I'll get it when I'll find it on a good sale. I like Windblown too, I find it a bit hard and not sometimes a bit frustrating for that, but let's see how it evolves. Realm of Ink is good, I still have to check the last 2 updates during the holiday if I can! And Balatro... I'm NOT a poker guy, but it hooked me anyway 😅 yesterday I tried it again after some months and I lost 2 hours in no time. Anyway, great list man. I'm happy I casually found your channel! I just subscribed, keep up the good work 😊 I'll check some other videos for sure.... But not Hades 2 since I want to play it blind at 1.0 and (I don't know how) I was able up to now to have 0 spoilers 😂 Congrats for this video again
Thanks so much for the support! Love the channel name too. Looked through some of your videos and can see the bulk of them are Rogue POP. You have a sub from me just off that. Also props to you for Shotgun King. Great game! Here’s to growth for both of us 👊🏿👊🏿
@@bassicfun78 thank YOU! This help me a lot especially since my channel is still super small :) The Rogue PoP stole my heart from day one, I don't know why but it clicked perfectly! In the meanwhile I'm trying something else because it's so fun. Roguelikes can be so different and that's SO good to try something different. Yeah Shotgun King is literally amazing and at higher difficulty is damn hard! But also super fun and quick, you can do many runs in a row without getting bored for that. Highly suggested!
Balatro is a great example. I’m not the biggest into deck building, but Slay The Spire is a great one! Wizard Chess came out recently. Also Shogun Showdown. There are plenty, but action is more my vibe. I do want to branch out in the future.
