@Jaii, as a means to educate, see if you can get some of the older/veteran producers from the 90s and pick their brains. See if we can bridge the gap between now and then because I think their is a gap somewhere in terms of the sounds/beats/riddims, which I think lies the root of the problem

Jaii, me feel like u a give the producers a pass with the quality of authenticity sounds of dancehall coming out Jamaica. They are among the source of the downfall if dancehall globally. You need to ask these hawd questions blood! Why is dancehall sounding more like hip hop etc? Why are dancehall artists copying the US culture so much and killing off our original sounds? If evolution ago tek place why we or they the producers removing so much of the core elements to our sound that makes it dancehall? How can we merge more of the core sounds/elements with the new sounds so the music can become more palatable and become more identifiable to the global audience? Bredda we need fi get to the bottom of this problem before this shit dead off!!!!!Bless!

38:18 I think the speed in which the music is being released is bad for the industry. Songs don’t have enough time to soak in and reach its full potiental and people get tired of them quick. Chronic law drops a song almost daily and I can barley even name 3 of his most recent because there are just too many.
